To me AEW Dark is a good show and I'm a fan of any kind of wrestling show not over analyst or being too much of a fanboy I just love the sport and everything around it positive and controversial there's alot of risks putting yourself out there and proving to people out there that pro wrestling is not dead but it's still alive and when there's shows please bring your family to support

I think it was brilliant not to have it this time. Think about it, normally when they hug it's all bubbly and fun but this time it's almost a formality there was no fun and love in that particular hug and the people don't want that kind of hug

I’ve said this somewhere else but there needs to be a Dark Tournament with the winner getting an AEW contract. It can be 8-man or 16, it don’t matter to me. Give these guys something to fight for instead of just being enhancement talent. It would be so fun to these guys get wins for once.
Plus it would give Dark a change of pace.
That would be awesome! If they decide to sign someone who's been on dark, they should hold a tournament. It'd be great to see guys like Lee Johnson, Robert Anthony, Brian Pillman Jr., Griff Garrison, Will Hobbs, Serpentico competing in a tournament for an AEW contract.

That'd be neat except that the whole point of Dark was to show actual dark matches from cities where they did Dynamite. But since COVID happened they had to hire enhancement talent to pad out the roster. At least now they're also starting to have more matches with their main roster as well, and I'm sure once things get back to 'normal' the jobbers will get more opportunities to shine. Till then, I figure this is what we get.

KiLynn King will be a star one day. I don't know why she hasn't been signed yet, especially considering how thin the Women's Division is right now.
She's been featured quite a lot lately, I think they have their eyes on her.

She is there on Dark on a consistent basis and we often see her in the crowd during Dynamite and you're telling me she's not signed? They just keep calling her week after week and offering her x amount of dollars to perform?

@@DantesflameX besides the top females, the rest of the ladies don't get the opportunity to do segments and promo's which would help them out a lot more, so for now all they can do is show their in ring abilities and hope to move up/a chance to develop more!!! Yes, you can develop off screen, but if you don't get a chance to showcase your talent.. what is the point but to come in wrestle, collect a check and leave!!!KK is pretty good tho and she looked very impressive against Nyla!!! All the ladies tonight looked impressive tbh!!! I just don't think they have much room for an entire womens division right now.. unless they cancel some of the guys!!! I'd love to see it 50/50 but I'm not an EVP or Khan!!! Only another show or another hr added to Dark or Dynamite would really help!!!

I've only recently become familiar with "The Killer Bae" Heather Monroe; Championship Wrestling presented by Pro Shingle, out of Memphis, TN, features a lot of matches from Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, and that's how I was introduced to her. I'm looking forward to her match with Penelope Ford; I think it promises to be very interesting.

Demitri Jackson was impressive. Trent almost killed him with that draping suplex. He didn't give him enough momentum to complete the flip.He should have pushed off of Jackson's legs, but he missed him and attempted to complete the move anyway. Jackson sold the shit out of that running knee strike. I've never seen anyone turn inside out on the move before. He looks like a grown man, as Cornette would say, and he is extremely athletic. He looked good in his entrance and appears to have a great deal of charisma.AEW may have something with him. They should give him a shot.

Love that everyone has some freedom it seems too everyone feels much more natural, it's funnier, nothing patronising when discussing the wrestling.
Excalibur/jr/Taz/Veda/tony plus sometimes guest Jericho is for sure the best commentary team in the sport, no question.

My guess is that they will get their first win against an established heel team when the established good guy team that the heel team is feuding with distracts the heels and lets The Initiative get a quick roll up.
resop3 that’s possible, but I worry that win wouldn’t feel deserved. There should be a clear, resounding 1,2,3 for that first win so it’s a cathartic moment for this team

I remember he said on Jericho's podcast maybe close to a year ago that the match he was mostly looking forward to in AEW was Jake. It made me smile to see it was gonna happen.

The commentary on Dark hits different, I love it, even when they mess up, it's still a good time.

I was impressed by the Metro Brothers.
They got the basics right and maintained the pace. No flip-flop high spots needed in an enhancement match.
They even had some personality unlike most other indie jobbers.

Honestly, the only time I ever liked Jack Swagger was when he teamed w/ Cesaro...fast forward and I love Jake Hager’s character and ring work. Instead of a punch to Marko he hit him w/ the knee, just a small subtle difference but I personally loved it.
