Trivium is actually growing on me. I’ve never been a fan. They are a great band, but it’s just one of those bands I’ve never really gotten into, but that might just change. Keep the great work and energy guys!
Weirdly for me, some of their music has to grow on me and I've been a longtime fan.
Still, its always worth it in the end.
hell yeah dude ive been into trivium since i first listened to ascendancy, then i went back and listened to all of their previous stuff. they're an insanely talented group. ive always been about drummers, being a drummer myself. So i hope they keep Alex, he's a fantastic fit i think.
If you haven't already, listen to Shogun. One of best modern produced metal albums.
Throwing in my lot with Shogun. Ascendacny is arguably comparable, but so is SatS (and that's scary...if it grows on me). Shogun is still probably the standard.
From "Kirisute Gomen" range, to "Down from the Sky" accesibility, and my personal favorite "Torn, between Scylla and Chaybdis."
Happened the same to me. You gotta start with Ascendancy or ember to inferno.

+CriticAL the drummer is unreal. I was introduced to Trivium with Silence in The Snow...this album has some of that album but overall is a throwback to their earlier stuff.
Yeah man, this drummer is a genius, is so faster, they are returning to their beginnings, if he realizes. Travis the first drummer of the band also used double bass drum, they found the replacement of he.
