Not commenting often on youtube. But i need to say my two cents for the length of the videos. I really like longer videos for this channel and enjoy watching them^^
My interest in pokemon overall has come back STRONG lately. To the point that I'm actually looking at trying out the TCG when I've honestly NEVER played the tcg before.
If you haven't seen them, I've got a few tutorials on the channel that people seem to enjoy. Also happy to answer any questions you may have here, cuz it's a blast to play imo :)
@@DrakDecks I DID watch the tutorials, yes. Might have to hunt them down and watch them again. Been playing online and I enjoy the Zoroark and Chien-Pao structure decks provided. Regarding your discussion of deck building, I actually managed to make my own "Darkrai Turbo" deck (of it can be called that lol). Still need to fine-tune it, though, as I feel I'm struggling even in the test matches against the AI with the structure decks.
@@jameshewitt4706 That's a fun one! Yeah, the AI is... not great. What I use those matches for is checking my first few turns to see if my strategy can pop off consistently. After turn 5 or so there isn't much to gain from the AI. They just make really dumb decisions lol. But yeah, great way to find holes in your build and refine your numbers before taking it against real opponents.
@@DrakDecks the deck has been hit or miss. Primary core of Darkrai Vstar (so far only have one copy of that, sadly), 3 Hydreigon, and 2 Hoopa. Hoopa has a 1-energy attack to fish a Dark energy straight from my deck and attach it to one of my pokemon. And Hydreigon's ability excavates 3 cards from the top of my deck and automatically attaches ANY energy found there to my pokemon before discarding the rest. Add on the 1 attach from hand plus Dark Patch, Energy Sticker, and Squakabilly; and I can get a lot out if things work.

Love playing the TCG, but i also have no friends or people close to me who enjoy playing. So i get my fix with the TCGL
