Coat of Arms Water Slide [NEW 2022] Strandbad Olten CH

This is the new Turbo water slide at Strandbad Olten in Olten, Switzerland. The ride serves as a replacement for the Freefall water slide which was situated at the same spot. The new ride is fitted with a near-vertical start followed by a Fake Slide which is tricking guests into thinking to fall off the slide. The Fake Slide has been integrated into the first drop of the slide (usually, it is used for curves only) so it is more of an Infinity Jump. The translucent light effects used for this slide are super unique: Instead of generic daylight rings, the entire slide has been fitted with the Coat of Arms of the City of Olten.

It highly depends on the slide. It can be a great feature on some rides while it is pretty useless on others. Here, it's medicore I'd say.
