You need to use the letter spacing option to get the cursive fonts closer together.
When that fails you have to manually ungroup your text and move them together yourself!
Then “weld” the text and it will come out how you want it !

For your cricut, if you highlight the word you want to adjust, you can "ungroup". Then move letters individually together how you like it, easiest to zoom in so you can see how they attach. Then highlight the whole word again and "weld". Either way, everything is so cute that you make!!! 😍

For the cricut bring your letters together using the “letter space” up on your tool bar. If you decrease the space it brings the letters together. Some fonts group together nicely and others you have to work with manually. Once your letters are together the way you like it, select over the whole word and select weld!
So I started a small business making personalized dog bandanas. Cricut is such a learning experience. I HIGHLY suggest using Canva and saving your words on a transparent background and then uploading to design space! You don’t have to space words or anything. It’s a GAME CHANGER!
To get the letters together and look best.
Select the group of letters, then ungroup.
Move letter where they look best to you, select them all, then weld!
Using that font with your Cricut, select all the letters and click weld. It will attach all the letters and cut them as one word instead of separate letters.

To get your letters to go together select the word hit “ungroup “and move one letter at a time zoom in to make sure they are touching when your all done with all the letters in that word select the whole word and click” weld”

Hey a great option for getting your letters to stick together: if you “Un-group” the letters you can move each one individually so they overlap.. then just select the whole word/name and click “weld” !! Hope that helps

I absolutely loved this video (who am I kidding, I love all of them)! To fix the letters, just ungroup them first, and then you can move each one over until they are touching. The e's and the o's and sometimes the a's can be funny if you get them too close, they will make the opening solid. To fix, just move it slightly to the right. You'll be able to tell when you click "Make it". The letters look adorable on those baskets!

When you were loading the dishwasher and cleaning the sink and I'm screaming "you missed that spot in the sink, get that spot"........the spot was on my screen lol. Hope you and your family are having a great day.
To connect the cricut letters, all you have to do is ungroup them. Then you'll be able to move the letters around. Once you space them the way you want, then click on "weld" and they'll cut together as one! I hope this helps!
Cricut Info: Tiffani what you are looking to do with the Cricut is called "welding" and there are videos on it on RUclips. Some fonts are easier to "put together" and weld and some are more complicated. It's a two step process. The letter space tool in the middle of the tool bar at the top of Cricut Design Space is very helpful for moving the letters closer together especially with a cursive type font. Some fonts you will need to ungroup your word and move each letter separately so they are touching. Then you highlight all the letters and click on weld to "paste" them together to cut as one word. I hope this helps. Love your videos!!
Also to connect letters on your Cricut just select all, click ungroup, move them closer together, select all again and clock group. Then before your ready to print click weld. It’s pretty easy really!

So if you select your text and then go to actions and click ungroup. You can move each individual letter however you want. Then when your ready just select them all again, go to actions, click group, then attach, and weld which will make cursive words be all 1 cut. Just have to make sure you place them correctly so the middles of letters dont get blacked out. Hope this helps!!😊

My favorite type of videos 🥰 Ps for the Cricut vinyl to get the words to be closer you just hold the mouse down and draw a box around the word and hit ungroup and you are able to move them around individually.. and then you just regroup them 🙂🙂🙂

Love the video💜 to have all your letter cut together on the cricut down at the bottom of the screen is a button that says weld. Just select the whole word and hit weld.

For my cricut I always type what I want in a document (like a word doc) and then I screenshot it and import it into cricut as a cut image!! It’s SO MUCH easier than trying to adjust spacing on the app itself

For the circut - you need to click on your word - a drop down menu will come up, click ungroup. You can then drag the letters closer/further apart. Once you have it how you want it, highlight the word and click again to see the drop down from before, click the weld button. It will have all of the individual letters turn into a continuous cut and they will be one piece! You can search 'cricut welding' on youtube and it should help you.
