This looks like an actual, played with toy car. Not like the fake, highly distressed and dirtied diecasts that garner millions of views. Good for you. I appreciate the authentic honesty.
Top Drives Pack Openings I feel some of those are brand new things they just stuffed in the mud five minutes before they took a picture for the thumbnail.
This is what I love about this channel - the fact that you'll do straight-up restorations like this one (brilliant, btw) and then you'll also do cutomisations and dioramas. The variety is what keeps me coming back time after time.
I would love a nice Ferrari Matchbox casting from back then. This one in particular just looks great and that's before your done. After you finished, WOW. AWESOME JOB AGAIN SIR.
Another awesome restoration! The windscreen looks great. I have seen some people use headlight restorer to revive yellowed model windscreens, but your method worked great! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love the video! Always a treat to see people restoring things. Small tip from my experience using retrobright on old lego. I see many youtubers using bags but found it easier to use small cups that used to hold toppings you can smear on your bread. The reason I prefer this latter process is because you can more easily submerge the part you want to brighten. And you can take it out, inspect the result, with or without a quick rinse, and if you're unhappy easily cover it entirely again. I also feel that this treatment increases the temperature within the cup when exposed to sunlight (on the windowsill), which speeds up the process.
the windshield looks even better when its in the car...overall the car looks great, think it need slightly bigger wheels. but you really saved it, its looking great
It looks incredible! I am very impressed with how well the windshield cleaned up andI was surprised to see you were able to remove the yellowing. I have never heard of the paste you used but it really worked well. Simply an outstanding job.
Great job with your Restoring of The Matchbox F40 Ferrari . Amazing job with the painting and details . and you can now see the windscreen was not broken but it was the windshield wiper. It would have left it Black would have been like the car on Fast & Load.
That poor Ferrari in the beginning was pretty rough, little did it now it's found its way right into some good hands. I never knew you could do that with the windshields, is a slick thing that you did have to keep that in mind. She turned out beautiful my friend, the red could not be more perfect.
By far one of the most beautiful and best restoration work i have seen maybe because i love this model danny the wheels..... wonderful even if you say they are not the best option for this particular car, love it, congrats.
I totally agree with you about red being the only Ferrari colour, but I've seen this model in white, and it still looks badass as hell. The only thing I would do more in this project, is letting the windscreen in the sun for quite some more. 3-4 days perhaps. I think the sun's UV rays would have more time to work and the plastic would be even more crystal. Good job!
Gorgeous job Danny. Particularly liked the detail work you did on the engine. Very nice indeed. The little details, like the size accurate badge, make all the difference.
Mad props for painting the taillights.🙌🏼 and even the interior. Such a minor detail...but it makes a huge difference. Love watching this kind of videos. 👍🏼
The end result, a stunning looking F40 Danny. A fantastic job done on it. Yes, it has to be bright red! I can't believe the windows came out looking so good. Cheers.
You have a very nice job. The F40 is my favorite car! I just started making videos. I'm still a beginner. The inspirational things you do! Thanks for the videos!

My favourite car of all time and the greatest Ferrari built. A track legal road car and the last car overseen by Enzo Ferrari. Saying that, the FXX comes close.
First I would like to say you did an amazing job on this one. I for sure thought that windshield was a goner. Second I about died laughing at 0:32 when you said 1987 to 1982 lol. Keep up the great work.
I think his fingers need some restoration.

This is what I love about this channel - the fact that you'll do straight-up restorations like this one (brilliant, btw) and then you'll also do cutomisations and dioramas. The variety is what keeps me coming back time after time.

A superb restoration of one of the best Ferraris of the 1980's. It even overshadowed the 288 GTO which it was the starting point of it's development.
Great restoration!
I found the exact same model in our big chest full of old toy cars from when we where kids. Gonna restore it aswell :)
Awesome save, glass turned out great, the interior detailing and wheels are definitely a nice touch, nice job on the paint too!
Easily in my top three favorite Ferraris, and you did a smashing job of bringing it back to life!
