Check out these amazing benefits from what they call Earthing or Grounding and how we have all of this already in Islam with Sajdah (Prostration).
THE MEDICAL BENEFITS OF SAJDAH (PROSTRATION)
Sajdah (Prostration) is a unique position or stance in the regular prayers, which Muslims offer at least five times a day (multiple times in each prayer). However the basic purpose of obligatory (Fardh) prayers is not to provide an exercise for people, yet it is being increasingly recognized that it has plenty of medical advantages for the human body.
Here it is worth mentioning that Prophet Muhammad(SAW) has mentioned in a hadith by Ibn Majah that prayer is a cure for many diseases. The fact is that a person who offers his/her prayers regularly is protected from many diseases which he/she may not even know.
The position of Sajdah in which the forehead touches the earth is exclusively associated with the Muslim form of prayer. It is the climax of a Muslim’s prayer and as mentioned in a Hadith a Muslim is nearest to Allah in this position.
THE MEDICAL BENEFITS OF SAJDAH (PROSTRATION)
People are exposed daily to many different problems. They may also be exposed to many electrostatic charges from the atmosphere. These charges are affect the central nervous systems (CNS) supersaturating it. One has to rid themselves of these extra charges, otherwise, they will have headaches, neck aches, muscle spasms, etc. The best way to get rid of these extra electrostatic charges is by dissipating them and discharging them from the body. In as much as an electrical appliance is in need of grounding (earthing) by the use of an electric cord, a human being has to “earth” him/herself to the ground as well. By putting, his/her forehead on the ground, because the thinking capacity of the brain is in the forelobe and not the topmost portion of the brain, one dissipates the extra electrostatic charges from the brain and the central nervous system to the ground. Therefore, one will receive piece of mind and soul. By doing prayer five times a day, with each prayer having several prostrations in it, a person will undoubtedly feel more peace, happiness, and relaxation. This type of approach does not cost money and does not have any side effects. It is very natural. This is the best method for allowing a person to continue to live in peace, harmony, obedience, and happiness for the rest of his/her life.
Above all, a Muslim who performs prostration on the floor as a sign of obedience will attain tremendous rewards and blessings from our Creator, God Almighty Allah.
SAJDA (PROSTRATION) BENEFITS, ACCORDING TO SUNNAH & HADITH
Abu Huraira (ra) reported that the messenger of Allah(God) said:
The nearest a servant comes to his Lord is when he is prostrating himself, so make supplication (in this state)
    [Sahih al-Bukhari]
    A’ishah Siddiqa (ra) narrates:
Prophet (saw) used to prolong the prostration to such an extent that one could recite fifty verses (of the Qur’an) before he would lift his head.
    [Sahih al-Bukhari]
In another Hadith narrated by Anas bin Malik (ra) the Prophet (saw) advised Muslims to perform Ruku (bowing) and Sajdah properly. In another Hadith he advised to perform Sajdah and Bowing calmly and to get up only when the body has come to ease.
Grounding Helps Thin Dangerously Thick Blood and Fights Inflammation and Disease
    By Dr Mercola,
'The terms “earthing” and “grounding” are interchangeable. It is simply the act of placing your bare feet on the earth, or walking barefoot. When you do, free electrons are transferred from the earth into your body, and this grounding effect is one of the most potent antioxidants we know of.
Unfortunately, few people ever walk barefoot anymore to experience it.
Hopefully, as more and more people become aware of the importance of being grounded, this will change, or at the very least spawn a much needed change in the way most footwear is made. Synthetic rubber soles disconnect you from the earth. Leather soles do not. So you can still find shoes that allow you to remain grounded without going barefoot.
(Prostration / Sajda is a way of grounding to earth.)
Grounding has numerous benefits, aside from creating a general feeling of well-being. For example, walking barefoot can help ameliorate the constant assault of electromagnetic fields and other types of radiation from cell phones, computers and Wi-Fi.

Mashallah, to help heal a serious disk herniation I suffer from, I 'earth' myself nightly with a grounding sheet on the bed, a grounding mat in the office and I and the kids get out barefooted as often as possible. This has produced amazing results for me. With grounding, I stopped taking powerful pain killers, delayed having an operation and improved my emotional health tremendously. Best thing about is that it is completely free healing. Allahu Akbar!

Ensha'Allah you'll be doing it in an Islamic fashion (meaning...that you, ensha'Allah, would join the Islamic Ummah, entering Islam). Prayers to Allah (SWT) along with reciting the Qurran, fasting (both Ramadan and the 'voluntary fast'), *charity to the poor and needy* are cures.
Salaam to you and to all.

    Benefits of Sujood:
For thanking the Creator, for preventing a crisis, for healing sickness and diseases, for eliminating a problem, a Muslim prostrates, makes Sujood, to Allah (swt). A Muslim thanks Allah (swt) daily and regularly. A Muslim's methods of thanks and appreciations could be the minimum, saying verbally: "Subhana Rabbil ah'lah (Praise be to Allah)," (swt) or the maximum, i.e. of prostrating to Allah. During prostration, a person glorifies Allah, exalts Him, praises Him, and surrenders to Him.
Prostration is to Allah (swt) alone. No prostration is to be performed in front of any king, royal highness, president, or any other leader. Those individuals should also make sujood to Allah alone, and they should not allow anyone to bow to them or to prostrate to them. There are many medical benefits of prostration. As Muslims, one must pray five times a day. During the process of prayer, a Muslim must first stand erect; then bow forward; then prostrate on the floor where the whole body is bent; and then sit down on the floor to recite Tashahhud, Salat- Ibrahim, and other Du'as. All of these movements help the Muslims to have the least amount of arthritic problems on their bodies. Salam!

🚹A man woke up early in
    order to pray the fajr
    prayer in the masjid. He
    got dressed, made his
    ablution and was on his
    way to the masjid. On
    his way to the masjid,
    the man fell and his
    clothes got dirty.
    He got up, brushed
    himself off and headed
    home. At home, he
    changed his clothes,
    made his ablution and
was again, on his way to
    the masji...d.
    On his way to the
    masjid, he fell again and
    at the same spot! He
    again, got up, brushed
    himself off and headed
    home. At home he, once
    againchanged his
    clothes, made his
    ablution and was on his
    way to the masjid.
    On his way to the
    masjid, he met a man
    holding a lamp. He asked
    the man of his identity
    and the man replied I
    saw you fall twice on
    your way to the masjid,
    so I brought a lamp so I
    canlight your way.' The
    first man thanked him
    profusively and the two
    were on their way to
    the masjid.
    Once at the masjid, the
    first man asked the
    man with the lamp to
    come in and pray Fajr
    with him. The second
    man refused.. The first
    man asked him a couple
    more times and, again,
    the answer was the
    same. The first man
    asked him why he did
not wish to come in and
    pray. The man replied, I
    am Satan.The man was
    shocked at this reply.
    Satan went on to
    explain, 'I saw you on
    your way to the masjid
and it was I who made
    you fall. When you went
    home, cleaned yourself
    and went back on your
    way to the masjid, Allah
    forgave all of your sins.I
    made you fall a second
    time, and even that did
    not encourage you to
    stay home but rather,
    you went back on your
    way to the masjid.
    Because of that, Allah
    forgave all the sins of
    the people of your
    household.
I was AFRAID if I made
    you fall one more time,
    then Allah will forgive
    the sins of the people
    of your village, so I
    made sure that you
    reached the masjid
    safely.'
    So DO NOT let Satan
    benefit from his
    actions. DO NOT put off
    a good that you
    intended to do as you
    never know how much
    reward you might
    receive from the
    hardships you
    encounter while trying
    to achieve that good.
    May Allah Subhanahu
    Wata'ala grant us
    perfect Muslim Heart
    and we all do our
    Prayers with all our
    Heart and Soul... Ameen⌛

    1. prostration helps put pressure on blood veins which normally carries blood down . so , the heart works in a deffent manner during that position in order to pump blood upward to the veins which normally carry blood down the body .
this is applicable for the veins of the brain too .
only people who prostrate & people who do some similar sport who can benefit from the effects of these upsidedown positions.
    2. in order to benefit from grounding , you will need to make a home made grounding bracelet . and wear it during sleep .

    A Forgotten Sunnah: Walking Barefooted
Al-Hasan bin ‘Alee narrated to us, Yazeed bin Haarun narrated to us, Al- Jurayri informed us on Abdillah bin Buraydah: That a man from the Companions of the Prophet sallalahu ‘alayhi wasallam traveled to Fadaalah bin ‘Ubayd (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was in Egypt.
So he arrived at him and said: I have not come to you to visit you. But you and I have heard a hadeeth from the Messenger of Allah (sallalahu ‘alayhi wasallam) and I hope that you have some knowledge from Him (the Prophet sallalahu ‘alayhi wasallam) about it.
He said: And what is it?
He said: Such and such. (Then) he said: Why do I see you dishoveled while you are the Leader of the land?
He said: The Messenger of Allah sallalahu ‘alayhi wasallam has forbidden us from indulging too much in the comforts of life.
He said: Why don’t I see any shoes on you?
He said: The Prophet sallalahu ‘alayhi wasallam used to command us to go barefooted sometimes.
[Collected in Abu Daawud (3629) and Sheikh Al-Albaani has authenticated it in As -Silsilah As-Saheehah (502)]

If the area you intend to pray is clean (without najasa) then I suggest you to pray without the sacada (the carpet for prayer). That's even a better grounding 👍

    [Muslim 1/534]
“O Allah, forgive me for those sins which have come to pass as well as those which shall come to pass, and those I have committed in secret as well as those I have made public, and where I have exceeded all bounds as well as those things about which You are more knowledgeable. The act of sujood, also known as "Prostration" in English, has been known long before Islam. The people of The Eastern Orthodox Religion practiced Prostration as an act of prayer. And that religion originated 600 years before Islam.

Islam isn't something new, Prophet Adam peace be upon him was a muslim just like the other prophets. Islam means total submission to the will of our Creator and Muslim is a person who submitts himself. Islam also means Peace simce Prophets were sent to all nations in all times we are all interconnected with other that's why sujood was practiced before too

Shouldn't you be praying without a prayer rug then if you wanted to do earthing?

    • @MONSTERO7
      @MONSTERO7 8 лет назад +1

Not really, it doesn't matter if you use the rug or not. I would always use the rug unless it's not available.

    • @TheMisterYassin
      @TheMisterYassin 8 лет назад

Well I meant in the way these "earthing" people are describing. I always pray with a prayer rug and can't imagine not doing so, but I don't know if you are "grounded" like they say if you are on top of the rug. I don't know how the science works
