Edward Maurice Lisbona (1905 - 1989) was a British-born American pianist, songwriter, and bandleader of the 1950s and 1960s under the name of Eddie "Piano" Miller. He was the house pianist for Rainbow Records in New York between 1948 and 1952. In 1952, he sued Rainbow Records for underpayment of royalties and began recording for RCA Victor and the short-lived "X" label. In April 1955, he signed on with the Treat Records label, which went under later that year.
In 1962, he moved from New York to Largo, Florida. He continued to play piano at the Scandia Restaurant in Indian Shores, Florida. A member of ASCAP, he composed numerous songs, usually under the name Edward or Eddie Lisbona, including "Gently" for Elvis Presley. He died in Pinellas Park, Florida, United States.
