Finally got the Hummer out for a run, man this thing is cool, and pretty quick considering its weight.

love this thing. on mine it was the teeth on the servo they we're almost non-existent , so l just swapped the servo and it works perfectly
The humvee is wider ( 7-8 foot wide ) than the street trucks by design so to me I think it does look scale compared to other 1 10th scale rigs. Great Video.
It's always been a petpeeve of mine that an F-150 and a Toyota are the same size (in 1/10 scale). It's just a compromise on scale to keep costs down while having different bodies available.
What's funny is the Hummers won't keep up with a two wheel drive VW sand rail? They get stuck really easily and are hard to get out because they weigh so much. We laughed at some military guy's on some trails we were on here in Michigan. I've never been a fan of any of the Hummers though. I don't know why the military didn't just go with GM Ford or Dodge trucks with some customization? But all that said if the price is right I'll buy one of these RC Hummers just to add to my collection of scale RC vehicles 😊.
Only thing not scale about it is how fast it gets going lol. I wish I still had the Tamiya Hummer even though it wasn't 1/10th scale. It was a cool truck.
Great vid, I have lots more plans for mine if all goes well. Check out Scale monkey's channel he made all this custom 3d and metal roll bar parts and sells them, plus banggood sells a awesome functioning crane for the 802. just type in hg p802 parts it's like $150 tho.
last Christmas I got an e-mail from rc4wd they had the blazer in digital camo for 87.50 so I grabbed one up and put it in the closet. im hoping they will do that with the 4runner this year,might have to get 2 of them at that price..hobby king never did send me the hilux ,,after about 4 months they said it was discontinued and gave me my money back..i told them the tundra was the same and they could send that to me but they didn't.
My wife would die if I bought her this. We like to get RC cars and everyone goes at it in the living room. This really would be a beast.
I think this company is doing a great job on an overall scale aspect and quality is really good. They just need to develop or use a more appropriate radio for the car based vehicles instead of the generic tank based radio. I am waiting for the trailers as well. My 6x6 is in shipping right now. Ill see if I cant figure out how to post a video of it 😄
As far as scale, the majority of popular companies are more often than not closer to 1/8 to 1/9 scale.

That thing is awesome.
I wasn't really thrilled with the HG cloned bruiser, as I'm a pretty anti-piracy guy because it hurts the industry. However, these original military models they're coming out with are sick! I've got the Cross 1/12 MC8, BC8, HC4, and HC6, and it looks like this hummer will work well with those. Are the axles locked front and rear on the Hum Vee? It sure looks to haul ass in high gear! lol
The axles are not locked but it has a cap to open and install a pin.

It rips. The scale thing has aways got to me. Got some 1/24 trucks thinking oh yeah I can buy some nice 1/24 model bodies and build some nice mini's at my budget. Ordered some nice 1/24 Yoda bodies and no. Their not even close to each other in dmentions.
Dont forget that the hummer is bigger than most cars in real life so it will be bigger than a 10th scale truck
Like your videos really like your builds, only one niggles me os your Beetle the weathering is wrong as the fender's front, rear engine cowl and trunk are fibreglass so do not rust, and your Hilux way to rusty having owned several and living in the dampest county in the UK with coastal winds from two coast's they rot but not that bad.
This is not a slight on your work I enjoy watching the work you do.
