Ikr!!! Im just now finding these!!! I had found Bobby's Looks Like Rain at TRI years ago but I didnt realize there were lots more. I got on the Dead bus in 87 and WSP shortly after. I am hooked all over again!!!
Set: Monkey And The Engineer (Bob Weir solo), K.C. Moan > Me And My Uncle, Good Morning Little Schoolgirl, West L.A. Fadeaway, Most Of The Time, Dark Star > The Other One
wierd sitting here listening to this all alone, enjoying it, it is like a private concert, no comments, not hits....good acoustic show so far, a half hour in...Weir plays a lot of chord based leads, Schools with a laconic, fluid bass......bats swarm the Dead at the Pyramid, Barlow doing a hippie Andy Rooney...Parrish=Ed McMahon on roids...Weir is like a racanteur with a stutter or something, he has an odd delivery...
He describes that the bat swarm at the pyramids was an odd savior to an almost too much for him moment of almost getting carried away by the swarm of mosquitos that were haunting the wet season of the nile flood planes.
hope you are having a good day? Thanks for being a fan, and for the support you showered on me, I hope you never stop listening to my music and watching my musical videos.
