My 16 year old granddaughter wants me to crochet the distress top. I am currently working on it. She’s excited about the progress.
for my bigger busted girlies,
ch 90
hdc into that for 18 rows (or till it cover your bust comfortably)
for sleeve: hdc 20 and decrease till u get five and continue with five till desired length
(I've only reached this far, will update once i get ahead) :)
this is complicated to understand but to have the same look, what i did was (for the sleeve)
sc into the first hdc, ch1 and then skip one and hdc into next and complete the row with hdc.
when u get to the end, ch1 and start the row as normal and continue. this way u get the rows as 20-18-16-14-12-10 and so on. so it doesn't alter the height.

Is a leftover yarn also a cotton yarn or some other material?
for the second step do you only skip 1 once and then HDC into every stitch or do you skip a stitch every hdc? :(((
I love this but I can never force myself to wear sleeves of any kind in this Florida heat. If I were to make this, I would need cotton, and preferably a pastel color😭 that beige one would be perfect for our summers.

@@realromanroy I find new patterns always take me longer (this was also my first clothing item I crocheted) so part one took me about a week. I ended up leaving the sleeves off for a more vest-y feel. I’m not exactly sure how long the sleeves would take, but I would assume another week?? I hope this helps and your able to make it in time for the concert! It’s really a great piece, and I get compliments on it all the time!
