Yeah,when he said all submissions are allowed I was like "is he serious??!!".Chokes,armbars and whatnot are one thing,but if you don't know where to turn when fighting off heel hooks,it can go south in a split fucking second and you can have a truly life altering injury becausz of it. That was mental,to say the least.When he said that,I knew somethin' like that was about happen.

Inverted heel hooks are a bitch.If you're not turning in the right direction to defend,it applies even more torque on your knee.I've seen guys in my gym get their knees fucked up because of it.I find the training methods and coaches at tiger muay thai to be kind of dumb in certain areas.This kill of be killed attitude in training will only get you so far.

My best time running Big Buddah was 32:45. That run is a killer, it'll test you. I never missed a big Buddha run day (Tuesday mornings) and every week I shaved time of my personal best. My first time running there was a cross country athlete and he did it in 21 something. Most fit 20 something did it in 27/28 minutes. The run is gruelling.

There was atleast 3 times where that guy that got hurt could of tapped. the guy putting on the submission could of finished that kneebar if he wanted to. Now his tryout is screwed because of ego

I’ve been training a karate/taekwando hybrid since I was 7 and have a few years of middle and high school wrestling but I just started doing submission grappling a year and a half ago on and off from injures (not training related) and I know I would get killed by these guys. I can go sub for sub with some of our blue belts and our smaller purple belts and I normally keep top position but the explosiveness and speed in this caliber of athlete makes me wanna really bite down and train way more seriously.
Damn same dude that was getting his ass kicked in sparring last episode got his knee blown out this episode by the same guy who was kicking his ass before.
What people don't see on camera is the GNC store just next door to tiger Muay Thai. Word on the street: the GNC store sells anabolic steroids under table. Starting at 600bahts per cycle.
Some of the stuff they do here is way too reckless for them. The people at the top in the UFC are mostly people who value training smart over training hard.
