I'm a bit disappointed that Justin didn't have a direct hand with the MV. He definitely would've added a fresh element to it. However, I'm glad that in the vlog for this MV, Pablo and Stell were talking about how the cars wouldn't have worked in the Philippine heat and traffic. These boys keep it real. That's whay I admire about them!

And to be real, not all song should have a "filipino" element on it, it will become too much of an emphasis as they are already filipino and they've introduced themselves as one each time they're interviewed abroad and a lot already of their songs are in filipino language and has some filipino values. Many international people might not relate when you shoved too much 'filipinoness' on their throat cause as we all know people want something that atleast they can relate to and have the sense of belongingness, and so having mixed discographies is a right step to reach the international audience.

Maybe the boys were relatively carefree in the making of this READY MV because the pressure wasn't on them since 1Z was not behind the making of the MV (ie admin, finance, logistics etc). All they had to do here was show up, follow directions and play around without having to pay a centavo for it. They didn't even have to pretend like they were having fun plus they get to hang out with apl.de.ap

They kept it tamed. Thus it "teaches" people that you can have fun, meet new people and celebrate without getting wasted or worse. It's just a happy vibe. The song is pretty catchy, just lacking that little kick I guess haha. It's not going to be everyone's cup of tea. There are songs I'm not fond of from SB19 or some of their solos. It really depends on what type of music you listen to. I'm more of a hip hop and R&B kind of person so Ken's music is pretty much taking over my playlist. Ready is still on my playlist though and still listen to it. SB19 is on it so we still need to support it.
