Even so, the tropes they've listed do show how imaginarily bankrupt humanity actually is. It's like what the Bible said...
"The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us. There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after." Ecclesiastes 1:9-11 KJV
We've hit a brick wall of creativity's limits long ago and have since piled up, stole, and stagnated, degrading every significant bit of uniqueness a franchise has and making it more lacklustre and common than you make it out to be.
Stories of fighting against Dragons have existed long before Beowulf as an example. Whatever people think about it, stories are just stories from a certain generation, ready to be discarded and reinvented in another 3000 years for another audience who will be no better than we were.

@@datprawn4850 Great points! Really enjoyed this comment.
Tropes are just us noticing a pattern in media, and as a broader context, pattern recongnition is a large part of the human psyche and we will see patterns where none actually exist. Many tropes on tv tropes are good examples of this. They are not actually a example of some common trend but rather some specific thing that you could pick out of anything.
Tropes are not wholesale bad things. If you watch a movie and you see nothing but tropes, the movie will ultimately come off as cliche. But if you "try" to use no tropes, you will have to bend over backwards to avoid good writing. Tropes exist for a reason. When someone gets knocked out over the head by a stealth hit and falls unconcious, it doesnt have to be explained to the audience. People already understand it. When we see a flashback we dont have to be shocked like its the first time we've ever seen one. Tropes have their place.
There is still room for creative storytelling, but by learning from the greats of the past and expounding. Not by copying or forgetting how to do dramatic storytelling in exchange for cheap shovelware stories.
