Fascinating. Such respect for the intensity of the process, and the attention to the perfection of the product......at all stages!❤️

Amazing! Sure would love to see more of this made in the US, but hats off to this manufacturing company for the precise work and great care in producing beautiful fabric. Thanks for sharing!

I really respect the art industry, it is not easy creating master pieces like these stuffs.

I agree. We need to keep our own economy growing and keep our jobs in the USA. Kaufman is one of my very favorite fabric manufacturers. The quality is excellent. As a quilter I appreciate quality fabric for my art.

Recently heard designer Jennifer Sampou talking about a better form of fabric printing that Robert Kaufman is doing with her new Sky line of fabrics. She said digital printing uses 90% less water and 30% less power, and lets her use 1000 colors instead of 18. Is it possible to see a Robert Kaufman Fabrics video about Digital Printing on fabric?

Amazing to see. And R. Kaufman quilting fabrics are oh so fine. Always sold tons of them. At my now closed quilt shop.

Thank you so much for sharing the process. The detailed information you provided was terrific! I am wondering though, about the gold I see on some of the fabrics. Is that metallic paint too or is it a different process? I appreciate the fabric all the more now!

I loved the video! I would love to work in the pattern and surface design industry. It is so difficult to find jobs here in the US...wondering why so much of your product is outsourced to Japan? Is it all about costs?

We're thrilled to let you know that we have a variety of fabrics that are printed in the U.S.A., including our new Widescreen, Whipser Prints, Whisper Prints Wide, and Spot On Wide. Look for them on our website and ask for them at your favorite fabric retailer.

Nice to know, but cotton should be prepared for printing in the USA also. I’ve seen this factory on other videos preparing fabric for other companies also. It’s a shame that so little is USA made.

Interesting that your "Japanese" or "Korean" printers have all writings on the walls in Chinese and all their employees are Chinese, too. How cosmopolitan of them!
