I made this lasagna last night. I didn't tell my son there was no noodles. He of course figured it out once he started eating it but he loved it! We all did! My husband & i are both type 2 diabetic. We do not take meds. We control it with diet & exercise & we so appreciate you sharing your recipes. ❤
That sounds great! I do mine with boiled cabbage leaves. They hold their structure just like pasta noodles do and aren’t soggy or watery. It’s amazing! You’d swear you’re eating regular lasagna!
I made this for dinner tonight. I added red, yellow and orange bell peppers. My husband and I loved it so much. We didn't miss the pasta at all. You were not lying when you said, "the flavors are there." Thank You!😊
I followed Mayra's other lasagna recipe a couple of years ago, but I use egglife egg white wraps to sub noodles (0 carbs) so easy! I mix ground turkey with ground sausage and low-carb marinera sauce! Just cook like Mayra, and it is a HIT!!
I made this Myra it came out good, i meal prepped them have been having them for lunch eat day. Yummy but i needed 2 bags of califlower. I forgot the parmesian cheese on top tho. I have lost 53 lbs, taking a while tho, i am not as young as you, but it is all working.,,, I love your videos, maybe we can do one together. Or add me as guest. GOt to get down 30 more so I can get my knee operated on. I am going into the hospital on the 21st, getting ovary with cyst removed, please keep me in your prayers, I made the bags and froze them so I can have them ready for after surgery, You are such a blessing to me. Thanks. Love ya Noreen.
I use the Egg Life Wraps for my lasagna...they are just like fresh sheets of real pasta..& I also slice them up into strips to use as a substitute for spaghetti, linguini etc...Sooooo good!
Hi Myra, I just made this, and all I can say is wowzers!! Because of the meat sauce, you absolutely do not taste the cauliflower. The only thing I did was doctored the meat sauce a little more, but I cut it into 12 squares and frozen 11 of them for future meals. I make baked ziti for family holidays, but I have not been able to eat it. Finally, because of you, I can have a similar dish. Thank you so much!!
I'd process the cauliflower in the food processor after steaming and squeezing, then spread it out into two thin layers, the size of my dish, on parchment paper and let it dry while I prep everything else. That way, you really could do a lasagna that's almost identical to the pasta version. But this is a great idea, thanks!
Oh my Gosh!!! I just made this recipe yesterday and it was AMAZING! I am on an imperfect Keto regimen (because I don't closely track macros) and let's face it, you can get bored really quick on Keto! I've missed enjoying a good Lasagna and this is definitely it! Thank you for this! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
I’ve cooked this 3x now with cauliflower. It’s easy and delicious. A bit spicey with 1 tbsp of pepper flakes. Reduced to 1 tsp. Very nice dish and great as a leftover.
I just found your channel a few months ago and am loving it. I’ve already ordered your cookbook! I just had weight loss surgery almost a month ago and will be eating a low carb, high protein diet and your recipes are just what I need. Thank you and I can’t wait to get started!
Another great recipe we’ve made several times!! I just use whatever vegetables I have on hand and throw them in. More recipes like this, please!! 👏🏼👍🏼🙏🏼 Thank you for helping us eat healthier!!! We’re in our 60’s, recently retired and not as active, so these recipes really help!!
Hey Low Carb Love! I'm so excited to have found your channel. I recently made your "meatza pizza" (first recipe from you) and it was absolutely AMAZING. The red chili pepper flakes in the crust was perfection! I shared with my hubby and he said "Wow this is 5 stars" haha
I used thinly sliced eggplant instead of cauliflower and cottage cheese in place of the ricotta. It was DELICIOUS. My first time making lasagna that wasn’t in a box and it exceeded my expectations. I’ve tried a few of your recipes but this was my favorite
I would love that. It looks yummy! Although with arthritis, I am no longer allowed to eat tomatoes as they are a high inflammatory food, so, I'm learning to figure out what would work in it's place. Maybe I could use the Alfredo Sauce instead of marinara...I don't know, but I sure do enjoy making chicken Alfredo with broccoli 😋
I use sliced eggplant. Soak and roast with salt, pepper, and olive oil while meat cooking.. Then layer as the pasta. Add spinach in the middle to bulk up the lasagna!
Hi Myra, i love to watch your videos. i have learn alot from you the healthy version of yummy food and still taste good and its enjoyable!! So thanks for that❤ i have been making healthy version of lasagna with zucchini, now i got another option 😊 will definitely try with cauliflower rice 😊
So funny that this came out today; I made this on Sunday and just ate the leftovers for lunch. I like adding frozen peas, garlic cloves and spinach to mine too.
I made lasagne a few days ago. Used green lentil lasagne noodles on the top and bottom, hearts of palm, thinly sliced lengthwise & sweated zucchini & yellow squash for the inner layers.
I’ve been watching your videos here and there since tik tok. My dr says I need to eat more veggies so I jumped to your channel. I already made the chicken Alfred & now lasagne next because it’s my absolute favorite comida!
Lasagna?! You have my full attention. One option I tried:2 ingredient noodles by Sonal’s food (just egg and gelatin), tastes great. Also used Rao’s sauce
That's hitting it out of the ballpark! I do the same thing but my pasta substitute is thickly sliced chicken or turkey. You can use processed meat. But I slice 1/8'' slices slightly thawed fresh chicken breast. I sear it in a hot pan using butter (flavored with rosemary and garlic) and I do 2-3 layers. Another option if you eat them... a layer of sliced Portobello mushrooms that you sear in the same butter.. A last variation is taking out the red meat and tomatoes... Use ground chicken and a a good garlic Alfredo sauce! I those variations all the time!
I literally just made it! Omg its so good. The only problem is I cant stop eating it. I accidentally put taco seasoning in the hamburger otherwise the same but it was awesome tasting!
Gurrrrrrl try lasagna with the zero carb Hero wraps or the egg life egg white wraps! Game changer. Because they are round, I used a springform pan (I didn’t want to waste the trimmings) and cut it like a pie omgosh soooooo good! I swear you don’t miss the pasta a bit cuz you feel like you had it! ❤
I made this and it was goopy - and I didn't use all the ricotta mixture; I just used 10 oz. It tasted great - and I don't like ricotta but it was fine tastewise. Next time I'll use more harder cheese and less ricotta though. Thanks!
The recipe on your website is cut off halfway through step 2 and goes straight to nutritional info. I used the video to help, and I'm looking forward to making this!
Love this!! Never used cauliflower before. I like to add tons of chunky veggies sometimes, too. Baby Bella mushrooms, all 3 colored peppers, onion, zucchini...whatever you want. So good!
That looks so good ! I'm gonna make that for sure ! I've been trying to incorporate low carb dishes in dinners. For my husband and I, we both need to lose some weight ! You have the best recipes!
Hello! Wow, I definitely enjoy your channel and congrats by the way on your overall weight loss and healthier lifestyle you’ve incorporated. Thanks for sharing such amazing content. Just a quick question.. what can I substitute marinara sauce for because it doesn’t always agree with me.
Your lasagna looks delicious indeed! I shall certainly try it this weekend, but I just have to figure out something else instead of cauliflower, because I cannot digest it. Perhaps zucchini? Thank you.
Looks great. I'm loving your channel. I went to your website but most of this recipe got cut off ... if you would fix it, I would be grateful. Thanks again ❤
I wonder if you took that cauliflower and blended and add an egg and lay on a sheet pan and bake into a sheet and use as layers to the lasagna? My family would miss the layers

I make lasagna with egg life wraps. It is just like noodles. It doesn’t get mushy. Closest dupe for pasta. So delicious!!
I just checked out the price of these on Amazon - and wow - they are crazy expensive; about $27 for a small package!
@@WeDidntExpectthis i get them from walmart or aldi. They are less than $6.00
They have them at Aldi
Think I paid $5.99.
I use zucchini! Just slice it long ways and as thin as you like! Then do the rest! So YUMMY!!
That sounds great! I do mine with boiled cabbage leaves. They hold their structure just like pasta noodles do and aren’t soggy or watery. It’s amazing! You’d swear you’re eating regular lasagna!
Yes I agree. I made Keto Lasagna using thin sliced zukes. Turned out Yummo. Cali Lady.
Do you cook the zucchini before putting them on the layers of the lasagna?
She's showed recipes for lasagna with zucchini as well. You can literally do whatever you'd like!
@@AnnileezeI was wondering how cabbage would be!! I like to shred cabbage, roast it and put Alfredo and meatballs on it!! So good!!
Italians add parsley and egg to Ricotta. Looks great!
You can't use ricotta without egg and parsley, salt and pepper! Don't bring me ricotta without 😂
I made this for dinner tonight. I added red, yellow and orange bell peppers. My husband and I loved it so much.
We didn't miss the pasta at all. You were not lying when you said, "the flavors are there."

Do you cook the eggplant first?

I use the egg life wraps too they are fantastic!!
Thank you. What a great idea.
I do this also! Sometimes Costco will have them in the larger size.
@leavemialone629
As far as I know, The egg life wraps only come in one size..which is the large size..never saw them in any other size..
@@Donna-cozydecor you're right! I was thinking of crepini egg wraps which I've also used.

I make a killer low carb lasagna with Palmini lasagna noodles. Turned my brother on to it, now he wants to use them as well. Love your recipes, Mayra!
I just looked up Palmini lasagna noodles and it only has 4g of carbs. I’m definitely going to be buying some.
I love Palminis angel hair too, low carb, with fiber, a serving is 2 or 3 net carbs. It's delish with pesto, shrimp, broccoli, or veg of choice.
I don't know what I did but my palmini didn't taste great
I can't get past the texture. Just nasty to me.
@@ayalovenaturalsThank you for sharing.🙂
Lasagna looks great I’m going to make it
This recipe was so good. My family loved it. Mine didn’t set up as well as yours but it was still full of flavor and delicious.
You can use the EGG Life wraps cut in strips instead of noodles. Works great!
Thank you. Cooked this today. It was delicious ❤
I’ve always used chicken thin sliced meat for the noodles. It’s great.
Thank you Mayra for all your amazing dishes! I can still enjoy food that I love and eat healthy! 🙌🏻
