"I wish I knew then what I know now." Now, she is scoring over three years sober and couldn't be happier. Although she lives 4 hours away from me in a home for women, I couldn't be more proud of who she is today. I listen to this song today and think; "Wow... I'm so damn proud of you mom." After all the terror and sadness their see each other again. They thought each other where dead. They cry and hug each other tightly whiles the other soldiers help the people get out. They don’t speak. They are just happy the war is finally over. The Girl has the shine of happiness in her eyes and is just happy that she will life and will have a “normal” life again. She was hold in captivity a year ago and had almost nothing to eat. She soon had died through gas. A few month later the soldier and the girl are getting married.
