Hiya! This tour is fantastic. I'm currently building Chester Zoo on my channel in the game Planet Zoo, and this is going to be so helpful in making some of the spots that are harder to find images of, and in adding the easier-to-miss details to the enclosures. I've popped a link to this video in the description for the latest episode on the chimpanzee enclosure so people can come and have a look at the real zoo and how it compares to what I've built. Thank you for filming this!
Thanks for watching, I play Planet Zoo too and I had been slowly trying to capture more of the scenery around the zoo as I know other Plan Zoo players use zoo videos as inspiration. Great to hear the video was useful to you, I've watched some of the build videos you've made in the past! So much patience involved to recreate a zoo this big.
@@gemark1605 That's really nice to hear. Thank you! It is certainly going to be useful to me. Even just the part walking past the tapir enclosure, for example, gives me more angles on that enclosure than I've found anywhere else. So keep doing what you're doing! At least as far as I'm concerned.
It must have felt so good to get back to the zoo and I heard that some of the animals have been missing having humans to look at. The Lions looked so relaxed haha. I love seeing the otters. They are so cute. Yey Dole Whip! The wild dogs are so pretty looking! Its a really fun way to get some exercise in xx
First I can't even get my head around you wearing a jacket in July! The heat index is in the 80s before sunrise and after usually 99 - over 100 Fahrenheit! Also, I'm glad you had a great time but I personally would not be comfortable even outside so close to that many people.
It was a windy day! Fortunately, other than one or two areas which we'll likely avoid next time, the crowd levels were very low. The zoo is huge. The zoo is bigger than Magic Kingdom apparently!
Love chester zoo so much!! Thank you for sharing your day!
The new area next to the sand lizards is for common adders.
Good to see you back at the zoo, very jealous of your dole whip, not had one for 3 years, should've been at Disney right now enjoying one 🍦
The best part is it tastes just the same as the ones in Disney! Sorry your trip was affected

Hi we’re hoping to go soon with our daughter - just wondering if you know whether the play areas are open yet there?
As of last weekend they were all still closed
