      Unfortunately, my screen recording software didn't pick it up since it was in a separate window. @sketch3436  5 лет назад +4

      Thanks, I really appreciate it.
      In terms of post-processing and lighting, there is too to go over so I'll give you a quick insight with the effects that have the largest impact on the visuals.
      For lighting, the intensity is higher to allow for greater contrast between highlights and shadows (also allows the beams volumetric light to be more visual).
      Ambient occlusion has a large impact, but I adjust the colour to be a dark grey and not black (which is default) this allows detail to still be seen in the shadows.
      Colour grading also has a large impact, I tend to increase contrast and saturation (not by much), I also increased the temperature and tint slider I also use the ACIS tone mapper which gives the scene a more cinematic look.
      Adding a reflection probe to the scene allows for improved lighting.
      Hope this quick overview is useful😊

    Awesome Level design. Can you please make a tutorial on how to add wind effect to the tree leaves?

    • @sketch3436
      @sketch3436  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks. Wind effects are actually really easy with Unity all you have to do is add a wind zone which you can get by navigating to: GameObject > 3D Object > Wind Zone.
      Some models may not support wind zones, in this case, there is usually a custom wind script (search wind in the editor to see if anything comes up) if nothing appears than unfortunately, you won't be able to have a wind effect.
      Also remember that the grass wind effect is done in the terrain settings, not on the wind zone.

      I have briefly covered textures in my terrain tips and tricks video, however, to save you time the main points are as follows:
      - Use multiple terrain textures and variations to hide the tiling effect and add greater ground interest.
      - Attempt to have smooth transitions between textures
      - Adding additional maps such as normal maps to textures will drastically increase realism
