    As an “old timer” who grew up in the fifties and sixties when British bikes were king, I have to say that the modern Bonneville is worth every penny both for nostalgia and dependability but especially fun!

    I was watching this thinking, "man, that looks fun. I wish I was doing that right now". Then I remembered I own a 2022 T120 Black, it's decent enough weather, and I should be out riding. Two hours later and I'm back to finish watching :) Thanks for getting me off my ass and burning gas

    Maybe the best review on the T120. You really did a great job at covering what riders want to know, how it feels at high and low rpm etc.

    I bought an identical 2024 here in Brazil. Triumph motorcycles in Brazil have excellent value for money, not to mention that the T120 is fantastic.

    Thanks for this great video!
    You are the only RUclipsr who understand the whole spirit of the new Bonneville!
    I had so much fun with your video, because I also understand, respect and love my Bonneville! 😉👍

    I have both 2022 Meteor 350 and 2021 T120 , the meteor is perfect to ride in indonesian road, but with the bonnie wow, its a dream bike, just love it, still trying to handle it better in a corner

    Have this exact bike, color and all, I ripped down to sturgis last week (about 1100km) with about 11 Harley's, and it kept up with them just fine, love this bike, can't wait for the adventures on this bike 😁
    I added givi pl6410 side bags and givi 17inch universal windshield 👍 and crash bars

    Great insight on Triumph Bonnie.
    Not my personal preference. I used to ride superbikes. Guess I'm older now. I love my Scooter 🛵 it's so practical in so many ways. Driving to the other side of Bangkok in my pickup truck 2 hours plus. On my scooter, it's almost half the time. 🙏🇹🇭

    I appreciate that you also dared to test more spirited riding with a classic motorcycle. Most reviewers just pot along so it is impossible to tell how the bike is with different riding styles. 👍

    My 2022 T-120 Black has been reliable and fun, My favorite to ride. I wish the turn signal housings lit up when regular lights are on for night time riding, its a screamer when you get on the throttle !!

    Few years ago I did testride this head to head with some of its competition: Kawa Z900Rs, Honda Cb1100Rs, Yam Xsr900..
    Before that the T120 was on top of my list of these bikes. After all tests, it was the last. Of course design wise its spot on, but its just so awful to ride compared to the other 3. Eventually I ended up getting the Honda, it was the best blend of beauty/reliability/power/riding characteristics with heritage.

    I have a 2020 model t120. I have no problem at all railing it through curves. Where I live in Tennessee there is no lack of twisty roads and I find that just a little counter steering is all that's needed to have a great time. No complaints from me.

      It's hard to get to know the bike properly in just 30 minutes. But I love making these videos because it's a raw first impression of what immediately stands out as soon as you get on the bike. That's why I also don't do documentation before I get on the bike. I just want to feel it and see how approachable it is out of the box and what goes through your mind when you first ride it.

      @@RideWithAlexAwesome bike and I’ve owned 2 of them, but yes it’s not the worlds best cornering bike by any means, but nor is it suppose to be. Buts its super comfortable and relaxing.

    best of all videos of triumphs well most videos are all yak yak yak talks it sort of wasted my times of watching those other videos all i wanted to know if triumph are capable of fast overtaking on highway as it's getting over populated well it's great to see your video as i've got a '11 speedmaster I was thinking of T120 or speedmaster 1200 to buy in the future. big thank to you for proving it.

      Nu stiu inca am programul foarte incarcat si n-am pic de timp liber. Am pe lista Mamba, Jet 14 Evo, Kove 800X, Kove 450 rally si vreau sa le fac corect cand am timp pentru ca sunt inmatriculate si le pot teste cum trebuie. Nu vreau sa fac ceva pe fuga. Deci probabil in septembrie-octombrie le va veni randul.

    That lack of sound is likely it being fuel injected. Carbed engines just have that thump sound when ya twist the throttle. And at idle.

      When people are looking for a retro bike style is more important then engine and power, so that was my quest to see if engine power can impact the experience. A bike like this is all about the experience of riding gently and the emotions it gives you, not speed.

    • @nicucraciun7877
      @nicucraciun7877 6 месяцев назад

      i have notice that too. You simply cannot compare a premium T120 with a low cost Royal Enfield 350 jut because they look somehow similar. And pricewise - when you compare it with similar premium brands (Kawa W800, HondaCB) the prices are more or less the same. But the rest of the review is on point!

  • @adrianxroman
    @adrianxroman 6 месяцев назад +3

    This definetly isn`t twice the motorcycle the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is, so the branding percentage included in the price is a bit too much for a normal person. It`s targeted at riders with large pockets and that love the Triumph brand. I think between this one and the Interceptor the Kawasaki W800 hits a nice sweet spot with a much better gearbox and sufficient power if the RE is not enough for you. Great review again!

    • @Dante-do6ju
      @Dante-do6ju 5 месяцев назад

      I do not agree with you, my dear. Royal Enfield has a good figure, but it is not Triumph in its torque (T120 105 nm). Kawa W800 away from Bonnie and RE, engine slack for 800 cc. Regards.

    • @thepodbaydoorshal
      @thepodbaydoorshal 4 месяца назад

      @@Dante-do6juHave you ridden them? I have ridden the Triumph and the Kawasaki and I can tell you they are very close in acceleration. The Interceptor being the lightest among them, is probably not that far behind either. Ride them for yourself and see.
