Great video. You addressed all of the questions I had regarding these lenses.

Just wanted to add, I liked your video. And the thorough nature of your comparisons.

they actually do improve the quality of the images. Esspecially the telelens has its natural own bokeh and when you make portraits with it you get almost dslr like shots when you use it with portraitmode on your camera. In my case teaming the galaxy s9 plus up with the tele and using the google pixel xl camera app you get amazing portraitshots in portraitmode. And you get distortionfree wide angle photos everywhere. Team them up with the moment app or your stock camera app amd you haveamazing equipment to get interesting shots wherever you are. Both lenses really are worth the investment! imo From all gadgets i have invested in these are the best i purchased so far. I take them whenever i go on a vacation and get fantastic shots.

WVMUSIC When I tested on my iPhone, the portrait mode did not work with these lenses, since it required access to both lenses. Maybe a different app would have done it better, I’m not sure. Did you test on an iPhone? Or just on the Samsung you mentioned? I’m curious if they perform better on something other than an iPhone.

@@ModernTechReviewsTV I use a third party app that simulates the google pixel camera which works completely with software. With that app i get very beautiful natural bokeh and combined with the sirui lens i get almost dslr like bokeh! Plus - This lens is not only a zoomlens but esspecially a portrait with a shallow depth of field. In other situations the samsung camera does well. When I take a photo with the lens on i get really great portraitshots with a shallow depth of field. I do not have a iphone though, but I do have the ipad. But i never use my lenses on the ipad.
Also - the telelens in the galaxy s9+ is not as great as the mainlens and it has a higher aperature (2.5 i believe) - with the sirui i get crisp photos.
I actually bought the widelens by sirui as well and i think they are really worth the money!

This is usually the problem of most tech reviews, the host talks too much for too long. I mean come on... out of 20 minutes or so of your review, you talked more than 16 minutes. Is it really that necessary to talk that much?

Remember the day when youtube video review is totally accurate.
The reason why he talk too much is he need viewers watch time. And yeah, its very annoying.
      Thanks men

Actually, I talk so much because I usually have a lot to say. Not about viewer watch time- at least, I’m not paying attention to that. I try to give my opinions, and enough information so the viewers (hopefully) come away with an informed viewpoint. Having said that, I do appreciate the feedback. I’ve been trying to restructure my reviews to be a little more to the point.

Modern Tech Reviews well unfortunately not everything you say is important. Lets be real, people want to see great content and great review. A review should not be 19 mins long jesus christ aint nobody got time fpr that.

Hey. Tell me, please, IPHONE XS MAX has a built-in portrait camera, does it need a portrait lens?

Yes, it might benefit your presentation to reduce content and concentrate on a few points.
