I agree. Since the whole PGA/Live dumpster fire, I’ve pretty much stopped watch professional golf outside of majors. I only watch now to keep up with Wesley and Kis

Swinging way too hard with driver. Need some Fairway finders and lean on those wedges, putter looks great.
Your inconsistencies in the full swing come from your lateral slide in the backswing. When you sway off the ball and don’t time it up perfectly, you hit it sideways. Gotta get more rotational in your back swing.

Just goes to show how incredibly hard it is to play 4 rounds perfectly just to even have a chance to win on the PGA Tour! Would love to have Wesley’s short game!

I flipped a 5 iron behind my back on my follow through once and broke it. Wes absolutely chunks his iron and it's in one piece. Really highlights the disparities between the pros and us.
Every guy on tour could say the same thing. Rooting for him, and George of course!

Was hoping to see some but I didn’t have the right channels where I was recovering from ACL & Meniscus reconstruction. Hopefully I’ll catch the next event! If he can get his driving accuracy above tour average, he will be deadly. Distance off the tee is no problem. The slower driver swing may cost him a few yards. I’m sure he already knows this. Playing too much defense out there and not enough offense for one of the best wedge players ever.
Kinda what I was thinking myself. Seems like every other drive the clubs twirling out of his hands or just dropping it entirely. Everything else seemed to be going well from him.

My kids and I are huge fans of yours, and we are root for you so much!!
I am a physician, so I dare to give you two pieces of advice:
1. Get a professional massage after every round of golf you play in competition, if you are not doing so already. It will make a huge difference to loosen your muscles the next day.
2. You need to talk to sports psychologist to control your negative emotions better, specially when you make a mistake. He or she can give you some specific coping mechanisms to channel the frustration that goes along being a perfectionist.

Absolutely love the way Wesley gives an update to his rounds of golf and the approach to being a PGA tour player. There’s a lot of very good golfers out there but to play on the PGA tour is a different level again. Prefer this to watching PGA tour on Sky Sports.

Hey, Wesley. I could see you starting to get down after the -12 peak, and I was wishing I could have leaned in to give you a pep talk before it got too bad. That spark of greatness needs to be fed, my friend. You obviously have the talent. It's just keeping it together with the focus and determination.
Stay positive. Don’t be so hard on yourself. You’re the man! After round 1 and round 2 you still found a way to find something wrong and ways to improve. Sign of an elite competitor. Things will break through and when they do the tour is in trouble!

Curious, do you have a mental coach? Not trying to be a DHead, You can see how you "carry" yourself from round to round on video. It changes, so does your swing. Support you no matter what......
I agree, Wesley could really benefit from a mental coach. You can really see how it affects his game when things start to go bad. Obviously the talent is there but if he could learn to manage the negative emotions and maintain the confidence it could be a game changer. I'm also rooting for Wesley no matter what.
I am a fan and try to pull for you every tournament, but it's hard when you throw clubs and be unprofessional. Please be better. And stay in balance with the driver.

I don’t like watching golfers “drop” their clubs. But when they throw them, I think they should be fined. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to the game, other players and the fans. I thought you were better than this.

Really enjoy watching you and George. I've noticed that, on occasion it appears that your stamina - physically and emotionally are a bit of a struggle in being strong through all four rounds (fourth round vs first round) and tossing a club. Finishing well - "Finish it then as well as you can and show that you can complete what you set out to do with as much efficiency as you showed readiness to begin." II Cor. 8:11. Stay physically and emotionally strong start to finish - the ability is clearly there. Pulling for you!

I hate to try and critique a professional but I can’t help myself. It seems like immediately when Wes has a bad hole, he try’s to amp up his swing and get a stroke back. But in reality it just snowballs. Coming from a guy that’s nowhere near as good as you; stay within yourself Wes. Your one of the best out there just trust the process

I really liked😝tempo Wes had thought mostly solid strikes and putts seemed real good ! It's gonna pay big resist urge more more more in drives then lose balance and tempo .I think playing real nice in general!

Wesley plays with no fear, that's probably what I respect the most about his game.. Wesley is trying to make everything, at all times from anywhere he can make it with irons or putter and sometimes even woods in hand.. He gets everything to the hole and everything inside like 5 feet hes steel. He doesn't give himself enough credit, as a competitive golfer the average person has no idea how hard it is to do what he's doing so well on the highest level and then acting like he's failed. I wish I could make myself play so fearless in tournaments

I don’t like to way your feet move around during your driver swing. The first two days your feet remained reasonably stable but on days 3 and 4 you were trying to hit the ball too hard and were unstable. I expect you know this as your mid iron to wedges are distance and direction dependable, whereas your driver down to your 4 iron are not … well done anyway for the results
