- After holding off on purchasing the Dr. Martens Jadon Hi boots for years, I finally took the plunge. The wait was totally worth it and I'm really excited to create cool outfits with these boots.

Took 5 wears before I finally got used to wearing. First wear was nightmare! The tongue can be very annoying because it won’t stay where it’s supposed to be.

I’m petite as well 🤗 I’m 1.62cm (5’3”).
Unfortunately, the leather is pretty tough. It will take some time to loosen them 🫠
But they’re so stylishhhh I’d wear them every day. I even plan to wear them to a wedding haha.

I heard these are extremely uncomfortable, but I want a pair. How comfortable would you rate them on a scale of 1 to 10?
A strong 9/10 comfort wise but it takes a good 1-2 weeks to properly break them in wearing them for a couple of hours per day, or you can do it quicker by wearing them around the house when you do chores that way will take around 1 week but it's honestly worth it
once you break them in, they're really comfortable. but it takes patience
I prefer Kickers these days.
Do docs typically run large or small? Im a woman's 6 1/2, and i dont know if i should get the size 6 or 7. Ive also been having small growth spirts lately.
You’d get a 6. You should size down in women’s, I wear size 9 in women’s in any other shoe but in docs I wear size 8 in women’s. I normally wear size 7.5 in men’s but size 7 in men’s in docs

to be honest, it takes a while for them to feel comfortable and loosen up.
the leather is pretty tough so wearing them constantly (without hurting yourself, ofc) can help you break in your docs.
for me, the problem was the top of the heel. I used heel grips and it really helped.

I have 3 pairs, one is mega comfy, one is the one shown just in white and the toe box is a bit narrow, and the last one I literally can't wear because of like a plastic thingy in the heel that has left permanent scars on my heels...

I’d say yes but I’m in between numbers 🫢 My old martens are a 7 but only a bit tight, so for this pair I went for a 7.5 and they’re perfect.
