In this revit Tutorial I will show you the four ways to solve the problem with a new toposolids and that's how you cut them with a linked model. First approach is to use Toposolid, the second option is to use Voids, the third option is to use Copy/Monitor tool, and the fourth is to Bind a Link.

These Teposolids are a nightmare
Amazing video and solutions.
Thanks for that...
I like your trees, any info on how you made them?
Thanks !
I think the site model should also follow Phases, so I would use graded topo and Masses. The masses could be parametrized or locally placed as the old "pad".
thank you bro
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. What if in the first file (toposolid) add the foundation and then just link the rest of the house or viceversa ?
We should use Civil 3D to create toposurface
Absolutely. Now try getting it to display in Revit sections and site plans cleanly.
Great video and workarounds, but I wish we had a real solution. I'm having a terribly difficult time with toposolids, mainly that I'm unable to see how the contours are being changed during the modify sub elements mode, and I'm unable to align points, among many other problems. Would you consider doing a video like this one about solutions / workarounds to common issues with toposolids?
Try the environment plugin
@@dddnl I have tried it, and it works, albeit slow and buggy. Hoping to see some solutions within Revit without paid add on software.
Good morning, I would like to subscribe to your platform and I need information about the courses and where I can talk about it, please I will be waiting for the information
