American here. My township has the same population as Iceland and girls/women soccer is popular here but I can't imagine a women's team from my township would ever beat Germany's national team. Amazing what Iceland can do in athletics.
Many of them are foreigners who get citizenship based on athleticism. We've had this for many years in the Netherlands, and then in Arab counties

The Spanish player Dani Olmo did a goal-line save in the Finals of the Euro to stop Spain from making the game 2-2, but nobody but me seems to remember that.
I won't deny that Women's Football doesn't get the attention it deserves, as it has certainly proven itself as a decent compliment to the much longer-standing Men's equivalent, but whining on RUclips about it won't fix anything. Get into editing and plaster the clip all over your socials if you want people to see the great parts of Women's Football (to counter all the compilations you'll find of the shittier moments).

Germans looked disinterested. Settled for shots from top of the box (which they missed by feet, not inches) and the defense was pitiful with egregious errors. Congrats to Iceland but this was unacceptable from the 4th ranked team in the world.

I'm English and we are getting more diverse every day. I work in a building with about 300 people, of almost every race , creed and colour. The type we hate the most, are the lazy ones. And they come in all colours. As long as someone is nice , thats all i'm interested in. We ' should ' never stop educating ourselves. I learn something new everyday. The wife will tell me :)
