Weird because it seems like that backpack saved that kid from falling.
yea but it could also strangle the person, best bet of surviving just dont fall.
If I had to guess I would say the pack caused the problem. That's the top of the lift, so it looks like he tried to unload and a strap caught on the chair, so instead of sliding away from the lift, he got hung up and it started dragging him back down the mountain.
@@justgoaz that's a really really tough backpack. Most backpacks would had gave away.
I lost so many brain cells watching this
Lift operator should be paying attention
I was on a ride in Tahoe I had a pack back on my back and they push me off with the lift just to watch me fall. Dam bastard...
No body has a backpack like the lady was wearing, and why do people sit on the lift with the pack on their back???? Hooooolllldddd it!
Except for the fact that they do wear them on the lift. I see it everywhere. The reason is that it is less effort.
i wear them on the lift. too lazy to unbuckle and then swing it to the front. I do try to keep my backbag from tangling with the lift though.
Take it off and hold it on the lift. On the snow, make sure you have nothing dangling or loops hanging from the bag, or wear your backpack on your front. That way you can still carry your stuff while protecting it from getting snagged on someone/thing else whizzing past you.
If I'm going up for a day I don't even take a backpack, not sure why some people do. I use a bumpack these days to just carry the essentials, some money, debit card, sunscreen, maybe a Tangerine. Other than that, you should have everything you need on you.
What’s the name of that backpack?
Very good info!!!
i stopped wearing a pack, its too much to have it on the lift with me
Why is it a problem, it saved the kid from falling to the ground, some reporter are not thinking beyond there nose.
Yeah it’s not like the straps made him fall off

Simple sign take back back off on lift
You do not need a backpack when skiing at a place with a chairlift lol
yeah u don't
Sure you do...to carry the six pack 🍻
off piste?
@@DjGhost718 they Hella overcharge for alcohol and food. The backpack is great to carry your skis, ski boots, alcohol, and snacks. Some places the available parking is a mile away.
Lunch and water/extra goggle lenses especially when your doing hike to terrain runs can take close to 40 mins
Why is a little kid wearing the backpack let the parents do it
