It amazes me to read the crybaby complaints in this feed. You are watching a program that is downloaded on RUclips . Gezzzz folks. I want to thank you sharing this great program. I have never heard of this before watching this. I found it a stellar storyline and , the cast was amazing, acting Devine, and set and costumes top notch. I personally enjoyed it.
It amazes me when I come across hateful people commenting like you, completely ignorant of the fact that your playback results depend entirely upon what device you are using. You are also evidently prejudiced against people who have vision and hearing impairments. The uploads of this series on this channel were seriously altered, darkened and the audio track muddled with at least a changed speed. The person who uploaded this video made these changes in an effort to avoid a copyright strike from RUclips on his channel. If these changes do not impact you, you should rather be thankful instead of criticizing those of us who are having a difficult time. Another thing to consider is, perhaps your device automatically corrects these changes; and I can tell you that is definitely NOT the case for many of us!!
I love movies like this; period English whodunnits and Sherlock Holmes. They come out with these great serials and then abandon them after only a season or less. I can't imagine that between all of the English speaking countries there isn't enough support to keep them going. 😢
The channel owner has altered both the sound and darkness of this video, likely in an effort to avoid a copyright strike on his channel. It does help to change the playback speed to 1.25, and if you have brightness control options, increase the brightness. If the changes are just too much, this same title is available on many other online platforms such as Amazon Prime, PBS and others, depending upon where you live.
This is a true story, it actually happened. I read the book, Arthur and George and as far as I recall, it was a few years ago, the problem of who or what was doing the animal mutilations never was solved.
There also was many horse mutilations in the Hampshire area years ago,the horses genitalia had been injured by objects like a rasp, poor things, and whoever was doing it just suddenly stopped, never was discovered who it was either
THEY'RE NOT FILMED IN THE DARK. THE UPLOADER USES VARIOUS MUTILATING TECHNIQUES BECAUSE HE IMAGINES THIS WILL PREVENT HIS CHANNELS (HE HAS MANY) BEING DELETED FOR COPYRIGHT VIOLATIONS.
@@RideoutMrThat’s what many of us are watching on. Obviously your control options will different depending upon what device you are using, but most devices do you have these control settings available. Play back at 1.25 speed with the captions has been helpful for me; but this video is also uploaded on many different platforms where it can be seen more clearly. For example if you have Amazon Prime, PBS, or another such subscription available in different countries, then search there and enjoy a better audio also.
Refer to an example of Fawlty Tower's: The Colonel's version of what "WE CALLED" dark skinned from India... vs. West Indies. Agatha Christy didn't understand why some of her titles had to be changed for various markets, especially America's. For example, refer to original title of Christy's Ten Little Indians. (Film: "And Then There Were None".) To her credit, years later she came to understand, and was apologetic.
I just discovered these uploads. I enjoy them, yet I often multitask when videos play. This habit is especially hard when trying to follow this series because too many of the men sound exactly the same. I therefore wonder if these upload’s speeds and coloring altered. The voices seem slurred and the coloring is a bit too unnaturally dark. I will now search for this unfamiliar series. They remind me of the classic short but very classy Belgium investigator!🕵🏽…😉!

Why are they referring to George as colored? Did Englishmen consider all people who weren't English to be colored. As far as I can tell the only thing different about the family is the name, Italian probably.
Yes, the British of the past DID consider the world split neatly into two : they were white, everyone else was 'a native'. Hilarious really, but there it is ! We have direct experience of this as an ex colony (Malta).
I'd say ACD is having conniptions in his grave being associated with such desperate writing, not to mention the directing and abundance of Darth Vader impressionists.
@MsAgriolouloudo Do you realize that this channel uploader has altered the original video? They darkened everything, and they have muddled the audio, slowing it down. Changes like this are often made by people who are trying to avoid a copyright strike on their channel, from RUclips or the owner of the copyright. If your device has brightness controls, please turn up the brightness. And please adjust the playback speed to 1.25; that does help a lot! This title is also available in it’s original condition on many other online platforms, such as Amazon Prime and PBS, depending upon where in the world you live.
You've never been around farm animals. Horses are skittish, especially when strangers approach; More so of strangers approaching in the dark. I doubt they'd hold still for even their groom scrapping their underbelly. The assailant must have known how to hold onto the horses very sensitive ears, but still? ... Mounting broncos, the rider or helper knows how to control the horse by grabbing the ear a certain way. I doubt the Dainty Reverend's son would know. The blacksmith would know, though. Why was he killed?
@mattnolan5527 You are incorrect. George was proven innocent, because of a meddling bad cop. This has been proven, and confirmed by more recent evidence. George was allowed to have his legal license restored, and to practice as a lawyer. You should look up his name if you want more details, but as far as I understand they never did 100% discover & confirm the guilty man- possibly because he was dead. Sadly there have been other similar abusive cases, and they most definitely could not have occurred without the involvement of a person having mastery in horses/other livestock. Mr. Edalji did not possess this experience at all.

A nice thriller. You never know what to expect.
What a shame that only this one mini-series was commissioned.
That looks like the man who plays Doc Martin playing Sir Arthur Conan Doyle!
it is
Oh no this amazing man played the Scarlett Pimpernel, with Jane Seymour. His name is Anthony Andrews. One of my most favourite love stories.
such a phenomenal actor, great voice full of internal confidence and not a show off like some other other recent SACD performances.

Fab series. Is the soundtrack a little slow? Everyone has a deep slow voice.
Yes, problems especially in streaming in Episode 2.

@amirach, how interesting.
But George Edalji was Framed by a bad cop, that much was proved.

Yes, that, and the erratic audio, makes it impossible to enjoy what is possibly a good series.
