Why can't we please put these wonderful old commercials back on TV, instead of all the medical commercials, which are garbage!

Lol---I was 16 years-old in 1971, the last year cig ads were allowed on t.v., but the damage had already been done to my generation.
I vape, now, but cigs were a huge part of my life from 1967 until 2012 (when I discovered the wonders of vaping).
Great upload: great vid and audio quality; always so fun to be reminded of life as it once was; thank you for posting! 😜

0:33 - Burgess Meredith does the voiceover on the ad for United Airlines. The actor in the ad was in lots of stuff in the 1970s and '80s but I don't know his name.
1:32 - In the commercial for Kentucky Fried Chicken, the little boy at the table at 1:37 is Moosie Drier.
3:03 - I believe that's Lloyd Bridges on the voiceover for Contac.
6:05 - Paul Frees does the voice of Poppin Fresh in the Pillsbury crescent rolls commercial.
8:05 - Jonathan Winters for Hefty scrap bags.
11:05 - David Janssen for Excedrin.
12:02 - Joe Silver does the voice of Sarge in the Eureka carpet cleaner ad.
13:30 - I believe that's Beth Howland doing the voiceover for Chex party mix.
14:29 - Cissy Houston (Whitney's mom) sings the jingle for RC Cola.
15:30 - Charles C. Welch (aka the Pepperidge Farm guy) as Mr. Hatch, the egg man (get it? Eggs? Hatch?) in the ad for Pillsbury Egg Baskets. Lawrence Pressman as the woman's husband. Paul Frees again as Poppin Fresh at the end of the commercial.
17:28 - Look for Frank Bonner of WKRP in Cincinnati at 18:10 and 18:20 in the McDonald's commercial. The elderly man at 17:30 was in a bunch of things too, including some Three Stooges shorts, but I don't know his name.
19:56 - The New Christy Minstrels for F&M (First & Merchants) Bank.
29:23 - Roy Stuart as the guy with the stinky feet in the Dr. Scholl's foot deodorant spray commercial. I believe the woman at 23:40 may be Teri Garr.
26:23 - Hamilton Camp for Tums antacid tablets.
27:52 - Elinor Donahue as the mom in the Purina Variety Menu ad.
30:52 - C.W. McCall for Midland CB radios.
35:20 - Burgess Meredith again for United Airlines.
37:20 - Avery Schreiber as the duck hunter on the right for Doritos.
39:50 - Judy Graubart for Simmons Beautyrest mattresses.
40:21 - Paul Frees as Poppin Fresh again for Pillsbury muffins.
42:16 - Henry Fonda for GAF sheet vinyl floors.
43:43 - In the Simmons Beautyrest mattress ad, look for Richard Libertini and Patti Deutsch (43:46).
52:44 - Jack Somack as Walter in the Lavoris commercial.
53:45 - Jonathan Winters as Leslie the "gah-baahge" man for Hefty trash can liners.
57:47 - In the Van de Kamp's fish fillets ad, look for Natalie Schafer (56:57) and Danny Wells (58:06).
59:14 - Lori Saunders of Petticoat Junction for Fantastik spray cleaner.
59:43 - Marty Ingels (?) for Amoco gas stations.
1:00:13 - Cliff "Charley Weaver" Arquette (mustache and all) for Mrs. Butterworth's pancake syrup. Hee Haw star Roy Clark also did a commercial as Mrs. Butterworth, but that isn't in this video.
1:01:53 - I believe that's Valerie Simpson singing the jingle in the Budweiser ad.
1:04:23 - That's Jaclyn Smith in the Revlon Natural Wonder Big Lash mascara commercial.
1:07:53 - Rich Little for Pizza Hut.
1:08:54 - Paul Burke does the voiceover on the ad for the 1972 Buick Skylark.
1:11:25 - Diana Canova and Ed Begley Jr. for Heinz ketchup (or catsup, if you prefer.)

Hey- can anyone locate the Chantilly perfume ad from the 70s with “He Touched Me” playing? Contrary to rumor the singer in that ad isn’t Barbra Streisand (her recorded version is a little different).

1:00:37--Is that Charlie Weaver (Cliff Arquette) playing Mrs. Butterworth? There is a distinct mustache.
