My story: Before I knew god and even during parts of my faith I was a horrible human being, I drank, I smoked, I hurt people. I brought Satan into my life because he made me feel powerful, but I was wrong. I went to church camp out of curiosity, I was still hurting so bad and was headed in the complete wrong side of life. I had accepted very bad things into my life only a few short weeks before. On a night service, the speaker said it was time for some of us to lay ourselves down at the altar, to accept Christ into our lives. I walked alone towards the altar as the band played and sang this song so beautifully. I fell upon the altar in tears. I cried and prayed so heavily for an hour and a half. I accepted my faith, and now I'm on the road to being a pastor. This song saved my life. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good.

My mother was going to die last October. The doctors were even suggesting hospice, that she aged out for a schizophrenic. My mom was almost lifeless, but I decided to trust God and I had friends come in and anoint her with oil and pray over her and sing over her.I trusted God not knowing what the outcome was and she made a miraculous recovery and is now in a nursing home. Jesus way is better.

This song was what lead me to finally accept God's calling in my life to become a pastor. I've been a pastors' kids all my life, and being a pastor was the last thing I wanted to do, though my relationship and faith is in Him, I never wanted to fully commit to being a pastor. And when my Senior pastor asked me to step in leading the church (which I was already doing at the time), I kept praying. On one of my prayers while driving, I asked God to give a confirmation. And as answer, this song came on my Spotify playlist (I'd never heard of Community Music or Southview Church or The Church Will Sing). I surrendered at that point in my car and I'm in the process of getting my credentials and have decided to enrol in Bible school too.

We can not save anyone, but merely plant and water, for God alone brings the increase, and my brother, our life in Christ is our calling, we don’t step into it, it it was given to us from God, for he says, I planned good works for you. So it is him that commissions the work, and it’s our choice to follow. For those who are in him shall produce much fruit. Your testimony has blessed me. I am in transition right now and do not know what will be on the other side. Surrending my control of my life, where mostly anything can be predictable, is what I have to lay down. ..I haven't been called to step out of this type of boat in a very long time.. Trusting God in this process has been hard; yet He has confirmed that He is with me and He cares for me.

Lord Jesus' way is definitely way better than whatever I was doing wandering through life the last few decades. It took the worst period of my life to finally realize that I can't do this without him So on my knees on my living room hardwood floor I cried to Jesus to save me again... And my goodness is he delivered in so many ways.
He saved me when he died on the cross and rose, but he also saved me again that Sunday in October, 2022 by helping me find forgiveness for things I never thought I could forgive and by sending me an angel on earth going through similar pain to bring me back to church into His light.
This song is the first time I ever felt God's love. So amazing And despite all my flaws and maybe missteps as someone new to the faith, he's been there every step of the way with miracles that I probably would have never noticed previously. Jesus is so amazing.

My 20 yo daughter suffered for the last 4 years with depression , no doctors can help her! There was though moments for every one in my family! My wife and my others 2 daughters and I, we prayed every moment for her , she tried to commit suicide couple times, even if we're active in our local church , me as worship leader, my wife as teacher, long story short, we had the opportunity for a 6 months youth Christian retreat in Dominican Republic, we try to convince her to assist, and we prayed a lot, finally she agreed, after the 6 months she come back home, completely different, God make it! Is this the song she sang in church with youth ! Very powerful, don't give up on your family, even if everything looks lost ! God keep your family safe

I'm 24 and soon I'll be a highschool teacher and I'll put this song on to my students so they can meditate 5 minutes and think about 3 good things that happened to them that day. I'll teach them to be grateful with the life God gave us❤

I always believe in god. But made a choice to not fully accept him so I can fully indulge in a life of sin because I didn’t want to taint Jesus by calling myself a Christian while sinning.
About 5 years ago, I had an awakening when I realize the path I was going was just far from the right path. Entering a church to sought for guidance from God… and this song came on. I bawled my eyes out. And I knew…it was time to let all the sinful temptations go, and fully accept and make room the Lord, been reading the Bible everyday, and making church my priority. I faithfully tell everyone to follow god while they look at me with shock because I am not the same person 5 years ago. The one who drinks and drive or party all night long and sleep with whoever walks my path. I’m anew.

I was listening to this song while my baby boy was having cleft lip surgery. While i desperately wanted a good outcome, I was reminded of my humanity and my powerlessness over one of my most precious treasures on this earth, my son. But, Jesus is greater, infinitely worthy of our woship, even more precious than my son, and in complete control. Praise God for giving us Jesus! He is truly all we need.
This song just makes me think about Jesus and fall in love with him all over again. He truly is just so beautiful and his way is so much better. Some people don't understand how powerful this song is... this is not just some song, this is a heart posture for the broken, and the deperate. A life style for the daring, hungry, and willing.. So many people make it hard on themselves and just don't realise that Jesus just wants to love you... You have to surrender for that to truly happen. Let go of your burdens, your desires that you think you have, your ambitions, and just rest in his oceans of love... If you don't you make it impossible for you to go to heaven... Just surrender to Jesus today!

I felt him this morning It made we weep I am a veteran seen alot of horrible things never brought to tears. I am a sinner I haven't been living right I felt these words in my soul. God has been taking me through a trial, but he is always faithful, I know there is a calling on my life, I have suffered, insomnia, anxiety and depression, but God is bigger, better and all that we can imagine and think he knows the plans he has for us, through this trial he has consistently been showing me the truth, and I feel the end of this test is near as it became extremely intense. I have surrendered to the Lord. This scripture has been shown to me which I am drawing on " Luke 21:28 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken, when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads because your redemption is drawing near", God is about to show up!

We stand on this Word and know that your "promises are Yes and Amen." Don't give up. He's getting all of His ducks in a row. Sometimes we mess up His plans, and He has to come up with new ones. I love this song and can't listen to it without crying because this song was the song where I first felt God's love wrap me in a warm blanket.
I had never felt anything like it before but I know It was God acknowledging that not only he loved me but that he had loved me all along and had been waiting for me. The first time I prayed with my closest Christian sister, the day she gave me my first Bible, I felt something almost as strong flowing through her as we hugged after the prayer because I swear God was filling her with so much love it overflowed from her to me which is the only reason why it wasn't as strong.
This song would cross my mind from now and again but I couldn't quite remember what it was called until this morning. I was reading my devotional And it read "yet for years I swim around in a sea of meaninglessness searching for love hoping for hope. All that time, you were pursuing me ready to embrace me in your compassionate arms."
I started crying again because it made me think of this song and after simply asking Jesus to help me finally remember the name... I found it!
Can't believe I turned away from the light for so many years yet despite that, and all my many flaws and sins, Jesus has blessed me time and time again these last couple months including this morning. Surrendering to Jesus is without a doubt the best thing I've ever done and I seriously believe that this song is a huge reason why.

We should make room on the day of salvation. …If we had a real pastor or were had gone through real discipleship that trained us to be successful…… but thats hard to find….. so here we are with most christian music being a spiritual E.R. because there was never a good enough boot camp.

My boyfriend and I followed the patterns of the world by living together but the big catch: I sacrificed my church, my calling. Yes, when I was young, I backslid but I did not stand firm in God’s word. I chose the love that my boyfriend provided but in spite of that, we thought we were strong but my partner tried his best despite of his physical disability, he helped me and guided me back to my family. The family I lost and when I was recovering from the overwhelming stress, my church played this song. New song to me but the words brought power to my troubles.
