This lesson is right on time. As I put on my long skirt and modest classy sweater this morning, I imagined people saying, “she dresses like an old woman.” I imagined replying, “I am 42 years old, and I dress this way so that anyone looking for Thotiana won’t look at me.” 😊
It’s 2024 and I still love Pastor Darby’s messages they have helped my walk with Christ so much 🙏🏽
The Holy Spirit is so amazing. I can remember being saved through an Apostolic church and they were so concerned with the appearance before the heart was changed. Long skirts and stuff, no pants, and I found myself rebelling against this. I have never really dressed sleezy, but I did wear outfits that would accentuate my figure. Years have gone by, and much growth has taken place in my life spiritually. The sanctification process has allowed me to hear The Spirit and receive what is holy. Now there is this change taking place where I want to dress more modestly....cover up! I WANT TO DO IT now. Therein lies true change, not forced change.
Timeless Word…..
Holiness is a lifestyle and your lifestyle has levels. Three levels of lifestyle: (1) appearance, (2) finances (what you spend your money on) and (3) believe system(your lifestyle has a philosophy) being anchored. There's power in holiness, it's a license in the spirit world to ride in God's grace.
Holiness gives one the license to drive in grace! Love that!
