Those lights are nice looking even for a home. Also, this is an interesting informative video to boot. Anyway, sock-it to me baby with these carnival ride light videos!

@@ActionlightingMT You're welcome, but no. I don't have any pictures of my project because I don't have any project. I just "manufactured" a positive comment about these carnival light bulbs because I like carnival rides & their pretty lights even though I haven't visited a carnival since 1992. I've passed by many though since then at a close distance.

I was today years old upon learning what these were after seeing them around for DECADES! Having said that, an amusement park I frequented had thousands of them on their rides, but over time the coloring faded and they eventually converted to LED but this is absolutely fascinating to me as a lighting fanatic.

@@ActionlightingMT Fanatic? How about the first time I went to an NBA game as a kid, all I watched was the old animated scoreboard (incandescent lights, of course) 😂

I got over 100 of the E14 star cabochons in a plastic conduit all the way across my house, wired to a flasher box, i got coloured caps for christmas, and clear caps for the rest of the year, i used to work on carnival rides in the uk 😁

Does anyone make a base or adapter ring that allows you to use a cabochon in a channel that was already punched for E26 porcelain bases?

I’m reading this after you made the 3D printed adapters and wonder if you realized the $16.00 price was for a 20 pack which was probably cheaper than the time you spent making your own.

@@envisionelectronics those aren’t what I was looking for. Those are adapters to re-use the old sockets. They were all rusted and worn out. I just wanted something like a bushing to bring the hole down to the right size.
3D printing is slow but there is almost zero time cost involved. Hit start walk away and come back a few hours later. Peal them off the plate and hit start again.
