    It's honestly always weird finding channels like yours, which contain very essential and helpful information regarding programming, exactly as any school would, for completely free and as accessible as possible. Great job, thank you!

    How is the recommended way to study the roadmap? Watch the videos first and then try to solve the same question leetcode or the other way around?

    Thank you for sharing that. I am trying leetcode and I will follow your phases. But should I finish the leetcode explore cards to get the basic knowledge before solving questions or directly solve the problems?

    • @EricProgramming
      @EricProgramming  2 года назад +1

      I followed the explore cards just to get the basic information about a particular coding pattern and then I just do questions related to that coding pattern. My recommendation is to read the explore card information section and come back to my phases and follow through those lists of questions.

    • @dungao9616
      @dungao9616 2 года назад

      @@EricProgramming Thank you. I am doing the phase 2 on your list and I still stuck with binary tree problems when we have to figure out the recursive base cases and stop conditions. I know recursion is very important in binary tree, so if possible can you make another video about that. Thank you.

  • @Rob-J-BJJ
    @Rob-J-BJJ Год назад +1

    Had to rewatch it , and realized i missed some details. One question I still have is how should i go about practicing it? So im learning the patterns, but then should i be practicing questions at the same time? Should I be trying to solve these same questions a week later, im just wanna know the most optimal way in your opinion.

    • @EricProgramming
      @EricProgramming  Год назад +1

      You should revisit the question if you fail the solve the question. Ideally, you can retry them after you tried all the patterns and circle back for a review

    • @EricProgramming
      @EricProgramming  2 года назад +1

      Check out Phase 4, it basically talks about graph BFS and DFS search. It is not hard for beginner as long as you know how to do BFS and DFS.

    I’m a little confused. So we can go through this guide without having taken a Data Struc & Algo class? I thought we had to wait until we learned it in college to be able to leetcode. That’s why I’ve been putting off leetcoding

    • @EricProgramming
      @EricProgramming  2 года назад +4

      I personally don't find these Data Structure and Algorithm courses helpful, I prefer to apply the things that I learn by doing questions, this will really test your knowledge and you can be able to learn different algorithms and data structures by doing.

    • @jpppptrade
      @jpppptrade 2 года назад +1

      lol know that is way different from understanding a problem and coding it out

    What views do you have for leetcode study plan?
    I have covered a lot of it, a total of 230 leetcode question.
    I have been doing data structure 3 but I still find myself stuck in some questions.
    Can you provide any suggestions?
    I will complete all questions from your playlist.
