I have a question. I own the kia optima 1.6 dual clutch. My carba few days ago, won't reverse once I put in that position. I got a code 7073e that states: won't reverse and, the actuator is stuck in the close position. What would cause this? Oddly, this happened the next day after I took my car through a auto car wash.
Hi, We would recommend taking the vehicle to your local mechanic or dealer to have this assessed. It is unlikely to be related to the clutch itself and could be a transmission related issue. Thanks
@@australianclutchservices7503 thanks for the reply. I'll take it to the dealer. Just for clarification. A closed stuck actuator can be caused by a bad clutch?
Hi Guys, thank you for such informative video. Maybe you could advise on below issue. I have a problem with transmission in my Hyundai i40 DCT-7. All odd gears 1-3-5-7 do not engage. Car starts from 2nd gear then shifts to 4th and 6th. What might be a reason of that? Many thx in advance for any clue. Kr
My suggestion is to take it to a mechanic instead of getting information from RUclips, they can run a reader on your car and find out whats wrong, its nothing youll be able to fix, its either your tcu or you need a new transmission
I had the same issue with my 7-speed DCT. I took it to the workshop and after running diagnostics they identified it was a faulty actuator. This happened in my brand-new car within two weeks of car delivery.
I have new Tucson 2023 with 290 Km only … I feel like I have to kick down to move car for engine to accelerate….??? Any body knows why ..?? Is this normal ..?
