I think this movie was really well done. Lots of airshots, consistent good aim, and kept the stickybomb quick detonations to a minimum. All you could ask for in a demo frag movie.

KamiOfBlaze Funy fact: acceleration of free falling is the same for all objects so it's even easier to hit falling object with a pipe then a rocket, because pipes and players falling down similar way (you can just throw away quadratic component). Still hard as hell tho. I was like "what the actual fuck?!" while watching this.

julien astier B4nny has flashy frag movies, but those are made by beater, named B4nny Legacy. B4nny is such a good player overall and he plays them all to almost near perfection. He is considered to be one of the best demomans out there, but there are other ones who is considered being best aswell. Kaidus for example and former players like Numlocked.
I'm surprised that this guy was not called out to be a hacker. The dude was very twitchy and when he twitches, he lands a hit with one shot (mostly). I am not calling this guy out was a hack, but his skill is so good, it questionably good.
Aimbot auto locks it to a person this guy is shooting pipes at an area that looks like the persons going thus the pipe and person collide at the same spot
Twitchy aim is often developed when you use a weapon enough and is not an uncommon thing to see. Especially in this level of skill. I myself have twitchy revolver aim as spy and twitchy scatter aim as scout because I play both a lot. The twitchy aim allows me to quickly aim and shoot without having to stop to focus on stopping and shooting. Most players in competitive will develop this skill fairly early on, and most Open/Steel (often Iron as well) players will have it.

When i first watched this, i was blown away by the skill, rewatching it now knowing more about the tf2 community, another thing stands out. No random crits. Recently I got into a fight with another typical Anti-random crit type and in trying to come up with a better argument then "They are part of the game" i realized something. What would of changed about this video had any of his shots been random crits? Very little of the shots he made would of been at all changed by a random crit, however almost everyone would of said it was luck, not skill. It's kind of a false mind set that random crits are the only thing luck based in tf2. While skill does play a big part in tf2, outside of competitive, it is still ultimately at most 50-55% of tf2. Things that are skill based. -You're ability to think on the fly -You're ability to aim and shoot nailing your target -You're ability to understand the full power of your class and use it -The ability to quickly adapt to who you are fighting taking into account your class, your weapon load out, and your immediate enemy(ies) class(es) In competitive this is a big deal because it removes alot of if not all load out options thus reducing the chance that you're enemy will have some other weapon you have to add to your list of mental checks. However this still leaves some things that are luck based. For example. Things that are luck based. -Bullet spread (which was bitched about early on in tf2 when i first joined but has seemingly vanished despite being still very visible) -What path any given player will take when mobilizing from spawn. (Though this applies mostly to the luck of where your enemies will decide to go) -Who you might run into, what class they are, and what weapons they are using -The skill of you vs the skill of your opponent. -Chaos theory (Just the general idea that you or your enemy might go in any seemingly random number of movement and fire direction combinations that skill tries to make sure hit their mark, but could not due to just going the wrong way) -Server Latency -Random crits. The reason Random crits are hardly unbalanced, is because tf2 is a naturally unbalanced game. Now before you jump down my throat, what i mean is that, there are natural checks and balances, but ultimately the game has always been about balance through imbalance. This class beats this class, this class has more classes it can counter but it's weak to this class. Heck alot of items are designed to allow players to specifically chance their class to have different balances, being able to deal with issues it has with the stock set in exchange for creating new issues. Heck look at how often specially sense TF2 went free to play, that the game has nerfed, buffed, or completely changed how a weapon works. (Dead ringer has been changed two to three times in the last two to three major updates.) Also How often does a random crit completely turn a game around? Very very rarely. Never in my personal experience has a random crit from one side completely changed how a match was ultimately going. The winning team still won, and the losing team still lost. I've seen a few cases of random crits in videos that could be said to have changed the entire match in favor of a team, but very rarely is this the case. Often times a well placed used of intentional crits will do this.Also i notice alot of people who complain about random crits, only complain about dealing with being killed by a random crit. I've only ever on like one or two occasions seen anyone bitch about getting a random crit. 99.9% of all crit hatred seems to be when one gets hit with a random crit. I Think it's time the TF2 community started to realize that hypocrisy about not really hating getting crits just getting hit by crits, and how they are hardly the biggest 'fun ruiner' or 'unbalanced and unfair' or what ever you wish to say about them, and just move on.

This is some good memodanning, I notice he has a fast algorithim for the enemies position, because he misses the first shot a lot and then get the second airshot really quickly to pick up the slack
That must've taken so much practice to get the trajectory right at different firing angles. His use of it to cover escapes in a kind of artillery application is really neat.
Stickies are so boring and meta. It's good to see more pipe vids to mix things up. Also any good demo main will tell you that the demo has two primaries: pipes and stickies. You cannot do well unless you use both effectively.

This is some good memodanning, I notice he has a fast algorithim for the enemies position, because he misses the first shot a lot and then get the second airshot really quickly to pick up the slack

I felt like this movie needed more good sticky plays, this is the only demo main I've seen that actually uses his primary as his primary
Stickies are so boring and meta. It's good to see more pipe vids to mix things up. Also any good demo main will tell you that the demo has two primaries: pipes and stickies. You cannot do well unless you use both effectively.
