I was slightly disappointed that they weren't able to do full color separation on all aspects of the kit but i probably would have painted the kit anyways. That maroon with red always looked a bit weird to me.
I wish that effect parts were more common for special blast effects on all grades of Gundam model kits. Like with the new RG Gundam Epyon I think that a clear heat rod and not just the standard should be part of the release. I’ve seen third party upgrade kits for some kits but not enough to cover the whole roster of kits in the Bandai library.

Unfortunately, the hinges for the python claws on my aesculapius disintegrated, luckily I had the heavy ground equipment for the geminass 2, so I did a bit of a kitbash, added some white accents to the blue, pretty happy with salvaging it
Bandai made all the g-unit kits p-Bandai because. Reason number 1 Bandai doesn’t own that manga series so they had to get the license from the manga publishing company to make the kits in the first place. The second reason is that the manga came out back in the mid 90’s, so most people these days probably aren’t aware of the G-unit manga series.
The quality of all these new G Unit kits looks to be really nice. But I find the designs to be very toyish, and it's mostly the accessories that make me consider purchasing one. If I bought this, its accessories would go to my Load Astray kitbash WIP, and the main kit would end up in my scrap bin lol
Why when i see the face of a traditional Gundam i feel that they are sticking out the tongue 😛? The only Gundam face that i like is the one of barbatos and the hg rx 78 2 revive
90's kit or not I'm buying it. It's a model kit.. you can fix any issues in 2024. 😊 bandai needs to give us a mini series or series of this cult following. Long overdue in my opinion. 😊
also, i went and got Geminass Unit 1 just to give LO Booster Unit 1's feet so i can make its transformation more like the original line art. idk, the whole feet folding forward into claws doesnt do it for me here on the L.O. Booster
@@YiminyCricket Wait, you specifically got a seperate Geminass kit to give the L.O. Booster its feet? But the L.O. Booster already comes with the Geminass feet as leftover parts.

I remember getting the original version of this kit as my first Gunpla kit. Too bad it's a P-Bandai release cause the price is so expensive.

transformation gimmicks ALWAYS screw up kits. Always.
There are some exceptions, but especially with filling transforming kits (not parts forming) then yes that does often create issues 🤷♂️
