Love the white bass run! Flies weren't very popular when I was a kid (I've been fishing that river system for 36 years), but I've learned how to use them and it's now one of my preferred methods. Some times when they're truly running you can catch them on a bare hook. Heck, my uncle caught one on a cigarette butt once!
Us too!! Flies have definitely become very popular!! Agreed on when the run is heavy, you can catch them on anything. Including a cigarette butt😂😂. Thank you for the comment and support. We appreciate it
I seen a video you made on how to rig up a double fly rig but never said anything about where the weight goes or how to put it on unless there is another video I didnt see. This is all new to me and I really want to give it a try so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Tie a 3 way swivel to your main line. Tie a 10 to 14 inch dropper line and tie a clip or snap swivel to the end to attach your weight. Then clip your fly lead to the last spot on the 3 way. I know it's in a video, I think its Pulling 3 ways. Was on the Menomonee River! Hope this helps.
Have never pulled flies but want to give it a try sometime
You definitely should!!!
