I was always a Metallica fan but I saw these guys in Melbourne 1993. Massive outdoor concert, 43 degrees,dust storms and no water available. They were absolutely awesome that day.
Rock on Gunners, Axl's looking good now and sounds like his voice has come back a bit, like the earlier days, my huge respect to the Gunners, the intro to welcome to the jungle never can get old, always just gets me every time, Axl so awesome to see you are rocking it man, much love and respect i remember seeing you live in Sydney 2007 with the corn rows, and I was not disappointed in your performance

_REAL_ fans will understand/realize/appreciate the fact, that; when a lead vocalist has sung at the upper registers of their vocal range for 20,...in Axl's case,.... *30-PLUS YEARS* ,...those vocal cords, are *SHOT* !!! It's not that they're not... _HITTING_ those notes; they _PHYSICALLY_ , *CAN'T* !! Another one who was a "shriller" / high range guy, is *David Lee Roth* . I saw *Van Halen* on their final tour, and "Diamond Dave"'s voice was (essentially) *SHOT* !! But like Axl, he still gave it _1000000_ % when he was on the stage, so, again; as a _REAL, FAN_ ,...that's all we should ask/expect from our favorite groups from 20,...30,.....40+ years ago.
People keep saying that he should retire but I was at this concert and absolutely no one was complaining about his voice or performance afterwards. Everyone was in awe and had the best time ever, and so happy to have seen such an iconic band

Hmm. Really..Just saw this ..I'm a big fan. But I thought Axl sounded terrible..the rest of the bunch were great. I saw Guns at the RITZ in NYC on 11th st before appetite was out . My belly was touching the stage. Fuckin awesome. 3 nights..then next year when Appetite came out. Then the Use your Illusions tour at Madison Square Garden..Axl made us wait 2 1/2 Hours .Well worth it..I just gotta say those RITZ shows with IZZY were fuckin kick ass.
He already recovers his original voice a bit, It is not the same level as the young Axe, but at least he no longer sounds like Mickey Mouse but rather like a singer of a rock band
