The girl that won ( Anna) was friends with Sasha ( the girl who got second place) which ruined their friendship because Sasha was the first girl that landed 5 quads and was promised the win, but her coaches failed her.
no, it's bc there was this other skater, alexandra trusova, who was everyone's favorite to win, she completed four or five quad jumps, which was the record, and the coaches told her she would win if she did. alexandra was mad at the coaches for llying to her (she got second place) and she was said to call the feeling of winning empty (sorry for typos, mistakes, or for the length)
@@Athena-i3p Trusova was not the favourite to win, Anna beat her at every adult international competition prior to that point. Also no one told Trusova she's gonna win if she lads 5 quads, that's something she told herself.
So in the 2022 winter olympics anna and Alexandra both competed and Alexandra did 5 quadruple jumps and her coach said that she would win gold but she ended up with silver and Anna took gold and the olympics that year were tough and Anna was probably confused as well as Alexandra
She was not expected to win, and trusova and valieva were more expected to win, when trusova placed 2nd and not 1st she "broke down" shouted, cried, etc. This is obviously a uncomfortable and confusing situation for them all, scherbakova said "she didnt feel anything" after she won (i could be wrong)
She's fantastic girl
Its probably because her first place cost her friendship with sasha trusova... (Correct me if im wrong)
HUH
You are wrong they were together in Sasha's wedding

I’m pretty sure it’s because her weight is affecting her performance and she is taking a break
