Breaking Benjamin is my favorite band, one of the reasons being that they kept the same sound and type of music since the beginning. Sadly Ben went through some health issues and went on a hiatus, but came right back with a great album Dark Before Dawn. Not one of my top albums but in my top 10. Another band I have been listening to since I was a teenager was Rise Against but their music style has changed to the point where I stopped listening to their new releases.

It is so hard to see that these men put everything into their music yet they get so little mainstream attention but we still love their music regardless of what they say
Hooch 830 because when a band becomes “mainstream” they tend to get overplayed and burned out. You get people that listen to it because it’s “cool” and they don’t appreciate the artistic value of the music, they just listen to it because it’s the cool thing to do, like mainstream rap and country. When a band is mainstream it usually means they sold out and eventually steer away from their original sound. Like Mumford and Sons did
