Rudy-RO is happy now that he does not have those hens pestering him. We recently just took his arch-enemy from the flock and added him to the duck flock for added protection. We lost a duck to an aerial predator.
We just got 4 Welsh Harlequin's today!! They are currently separated by a fence from the "old" khaki campbells. Your video poped up when I searched google. :) Thanks for this!
@@TheNakidGardeners we have 4 (4.5 month-old) khaki Campbells and now 4 new-to-us (4-month-olds) Welsh Harlequins - they will all stay together after a week of getting to know each other through a fence. So far it's going well. :)
We had too many drakes and was hurting the hens plus with hawk attacks it wasn't good. We had to purchase four more hens and put the 4 drakes down as they were too aggressive
Can someone please tell me where to get those water dishes/pans? I see folks using them and I'd love to get my girls some! Thank you! Also this video was very helpful, thank you
@tracymaceachern6773 well if knowing we were city folks that sold our place to be more self-sufficient and that this was three years old, you would have known this. But thanks feedback....😒
Great video. The two ducks did make it to the pond at the end👍🏾. Thanks for sharing.
They are so funny! Thanks for stopping through, have a blessed Sunday.
rouen for sure!
Yea we finally figured it was. Thanks
I'd say that went well.
"Don't be suspicious" hahaha
That poor Rooster lost his ladies though... :P

@@TheNakidGardeners 😂 😂 One of the Golden girls 💪🏾
@@SundayBackyardFarmer lol she is a hussy. She was always flirting with our alpha rooster
Blanch and Rose are gone show these new girls what's up! These ducks are growing on me.
Blanche is such a boss. I can't wait until they start laying eggs and see how many Drakes we have so we can start naming a few of these ducks
I think Blanch is a buff orpington and Rose a Rouen duck
such great farm ^^
We believe so as well. Thanks, do you raise ducks as well?
@@TheNakidGardeners Yes ofc, I have 3 drakes with chickens the breed are: mallard, mandarin and Semois duck (I'm belgian)
She’s beautiful ROUEN hen …’
She is. We gave her and her friend back to the original owners and decided to stay with the Welsh Harlequin ducks for eggs
Love It so Cute❣️😍 👍🏼 🥰
Thank you. So glad you enjoyed the video.
Rouen duck. I had one but my neighbors dog got her. She looked like your duck you was questioning
Thank you!!
Sorry about your duck 😔
Rose if definitely a beautiful Roen lady. Muscovy ducks have red masks and they don’t quack. 😉
After dealing with ducks for a year now, we noticed. Thanks for stopping by. Do you raise ducks?
We are introducing some of our Muscovies with our welsh harlequin ducks in 6 weeks. Thanks for this video! How’ve they been doing now?

Thank you. The 3 gal dish pans we get from Tractor Supply. The water pan they swim in we got from Home Depot. Its a cement mixer pan.
get a pool net wont get caught on the bills of the ducks hope that helps!
Great tip!! Thank you 🙂
A pool net?
Rose is a Rouen hen
Yea we know that now. Thanks
At the start of the video the pond there, Why isn't that the duck pond? Instead of that small bowl, or even a kiddy pool?
That is the long term plan, we are getting them home trained first before just letting them loose. 😊
@@TheNakidGardeners Sounds good.
Yep, that's a female Rouen. I have a male :)
👍🏾
