FORTS HIGH SEAS:

Personally, I like it when you two play multiple rounds and both upload a win on your respective channels, it's always entertaining
And we can watch double the forts content instead of watching the same video from two perspectives
I understand what people were saying though. Because it almost felt like the same video with another person playing. Because for both videos you would be talking like things were new even though you used it in the match before so it felt kinda fake or scripted.

I always liked having the double the videos. It's not so much about who's winning for me, just the friendly banter between the two of you makes it very entertaining. Whatever you do, please don't stop making Forts videos

i would rather they upload different games, but knowing they're gonna win from the start is kinda suspense killing.

@@willthewhitetiger that's what I was about to suggest: do 2 games - 1st one goes on one channel, 2nd on the other (could even not pretend both are the first one and switch which one uploads the first each time), but your original comment said "do what you always have done" which is not this, which is why TimeMerchant's response was very valid and yours doesn't feel right

I like to see who wins and who doesn't win on each side and yeah it's fun to watch.
For me it was always entertaining, even if I knew it‘s gona be a win, but I see the point of these coments.

Hey intern, just few suggestions. Friends don’t let friends not double door. Always have at least 2 doors on suff. Blocks cannon shots, laser shots, and ap sniper. Put machine guns all around your base to shoot stuff down, they’re cheap as heck. And finally, MOAR MINES AND WINDMILLS (with shields to protect them)
Fun either way. Entertainment is entertainment. Im not expecting esports level of competition here, nice vid

I think the best middle ground would be to play multiple matches but post them all in both channels. That way we can see what is going on from each individual perspective but also seeing wins and losses.
Yeah if they're playing multiple matches anyway, they could do a couple matches per video, and the second match in the video it would be a toss up between who won or lost

@@sjl4212 no it's not they already play multiple games. It's actually less work because it won't need to be so edited.
@@gaminggrump3281 If they normally play two games, one for each channel, that's two videos. If they play two games, two for each channel, that's four videos. Aka double the editing and uploading that needs to be done, processes which are much longer than recording.

I’m so competitive that I get invested and when you guys win it makes me happy, so personally i prefer when you guys place multiple matches and upload the wins.
one tip I have is that you two always seem to only put your guns at the front, making for an easier target. Furthermore, when the front of your base is destroyed, you're crippled, and essentially lose. My tip is that you spread your guns out more, and put the guns with more drop at the front, while putting the long range guns at the back.
Blitz should record himself saying "that's illegal" and sell it to the police to use as a siren.
I like the format you two have going, and would like to see it continued. More satisfying to watch a win than a loss, in my opinion.

I'm subbed to both channels and I love the fact that by choosing who to watch today, I get to "choose" the winner. It let's me root for the winner most days and when the person I am watching loses, it is always a glorious death.
Even with the basic weapons like cannons and lasers you can make them op. Like the laser concertratinator or particle accelerator. There are portal setup though that need to be done first. The end result of both is that they are very strong.
Oh man, Imagine these two vs. a GOOD player, such as Incursus. I'd bet good money Incursus would wipe the floor with them unless he actively handicaps himself to the point that its impossible to win.
@@airplanemaniacgaming7877 when I play forts I'll be the best experimental portal designs player like using super weapons and portal to create some weird and wacky designs that do op amounts of damage to enemy forts.

You should hide batteries behind solid walls and material stashes wherever you wamt. Because batteries explode when shot.
Can end up in a bad chain reaction and is very dangerous for your reactor.
I think it's mostly that we would like to see more of a variety of the video poster winning or losing on their own channel. If you won on both channels or Blitz did, or if you won on Blitz' and he won on yours, the variety would make it feel more genuine (not to accuse either of you of playing disingenuously, just that the constant same end result feels so). Diverse results will give viewers more reason to pay attention

I wonder if the better compromise is "If we play 4 games, you take 2 and upload and I take 2" whether win or lose. For example one day you can take 2 and 3, and Blitz takes 1 and 4 or another day you take 1&2 and he takes 3 & 4 or whatever.

I didn't start watching the Forts videos until a few months ago, but I've gone back to watch many of the older videos. Don't know why but I love watching you two play Forts.

Y’all should try the trisolaris mod set. It’s op, but also very balanced. It has a clear progression as well as timers to unlock the most op stuff. I can absolutely see you guys having fun and bantering back and forth about the cool weapons you just shot.

I like two different battles on each channel ,however I am not a huge fan of knowing who was going to win before I watch the video.

I think that doing separate videos on each channel is good, you should just randomly determine which video goes to each channel so the viewers don't know the outcome

Intern, you don’t focus on economy which is why you end up with less weapons. You invest in weapons instead of economy which is why you’re annoying for the first 10 minutes until blitzes economy picks up.

You need to build multiple of the same weapon to do damage for example build three cannons on top of each other and double door each one of them

"Tips:
Double door weapons so AP snipers, lasers and cannons can't kill them.
Press U while hovering over a device or weapon to upgrade it.
The hotkeys for materials, devices, tech, weapons and ammo are z, x, c, v, and b. Press those buttons multiple times to scroll through them. This should massively increase how quickly you can build.
Build new mines or turbines (or smokestacks or props) before upgrading them, it's more efficient.
Pay more attention to your commander, Overdrive, Architect and Warthog are very good all-rounders. Use the abilities when you need them.
Cover your doors with background bracing so your enemies can't see when you open them.
Build machine gunners for AA, they're cheaper than flak and fire a lot faster. Flak is still very good against lots of missiles, but gunners are generally more efficient and don't explode.
Make boxes the size of whatever you're going to put inside them, you should be mostly made of 2x2 (grid space) boxes, cannons, howis, lasers etc require around 2.5 tall, turbines and flak need about 3 tall.
Don't use 20mm cannons, they're not great. They're strong with the active of the Scattershot commander, and make good accel ammo, but otherwise cannons are far better.
If you firebeam an area and then hit that spot with a plasma laser, it cuts through far better.
Always prioritize tech first, then economy. Get weapons as soon as tech and money allows, and defend only around when weapons are coming online, or if you see what they're making and defend accordingly.
