    There is absolutely nothing that compares to “Old Yeller”. And yes…it has been preserved as culturally significant.

    I was born in 1945 Southern California.. That period of time was a unique experience to be grow up for a boy. I saw many actors in various locations in and around Los Angeles thru the years. Attended Disneyland too many times to remember.

    Two things.
    1. They talk about the dog actor, Spike as the title character and role at 15:10.
    2. They talk about my favorite scene where Old Yeller came to Arliss' rescue from the enraged mother bear at 21:40.

    If Old Yeller (1957) is animated, I’m sure Travis’s younger brother would have took inspiration from Michael Darling from Disney’s Peter Pan (1953) and Travis himself would have took inspiration from John Darling from Disney’s Peter Pan (1953). I’m also sure Marc Davis and Les Clark would have done a great job animating Travis’s mother if Old Yeller (1957) is animated.

    What if Old Yeller (1957) was animated and Milt Kahl, Ollie Johnston, and Eric Larson are the supervising animators of Old Yeller and Old Yeller is animated in the same style like Cinderella (1950), Alice in Wonderland (1951), Peter Pan (1953), Lady and the Tramp (1955), and Sleeping Beauty (1959) and what if Old Yeller’s animated form looks like one of the dogs from Lady and the Tramp (1955)?

  • @familyguyftwdoratheexplore795
    @familyguyftwdoratheexplore795 10 месяцев назад

    I’m pretty much sure if Old Yeller (1957) is animated, Wolfgang Reitherman would have done a great job animating the intense fighting scenes and Eric Larson would have done a great job animating some of the forest animals giving them an endearing appearance. I’m pretty sure Oliver Wallace would have served as the music composer and Iwao Takamoto would have been the animation assistant if Old Yeller (1957) is animated.

    Back when dogs were dogs even though they were still obviously loved. Now people treat dogs better than humans and don’t care that they do.
