@@SKumar-fk6tj The best horns....melodious and heard faraway and not hurting the LP's ears were the horns of the Metre gauge YAM1 locos imported from Japan in the 60s. They were in service in the Madras ( chennai) Villupuram electrified section...a distance of about 140km. These beautiful locos were the combined joint product of Japanese giants Mitsubishi, Hitachi and Toshiba. They had really wonderful melodious horns which could be heard far away....sadly they all have vanished after gauge conversion.
@@rajarams5988 yes, many Good Locomotives will get vanished after 100 percent Electrification in india. Electric engines will save a lot of money but Old Diesel is Gold.

Bro there is AC in WAG 9 and WAG 7 as far as I'm aware. This might be an old unit but I've seen ACs in newer WAG 9s.

For 6350 hp of brute force , the loco sounds like a mouse. The horn has to be improved. I have noticed this defect in most WAP7s.
