Thanks for the video, some collection! I bought a few Patagonia items back in the early 80's but most have moved on. Still have a heavy pile fleece (Synchilla) ski jacket with water resistant shell and storm skirt. Funny, 25 years ago I'd relegated this to the storage bin but now I'm liking it all over again. Very light, warm, and functional. Deep red with dark navy pile, I'm sure they sold a bunch but I never see any on eBay or re-sellers. Don't remember what they called it. USA made!
Awesome collection F! I used to climb A LOT. Eat. Sleep. Breathed that shit for years. Learning about the history of Camp 4 in Yosemite gave me goosebumps, and still does to this day. Your collection is from the same time Camp 4 was getting popular and people were starting to climb the big walls! Super cool to think about what Ivon was doing and making and the climbers were doing and using. Pioneer days for sure!
Bought that Aztec one in the background from their WornWear site a few years ago. I ended not really liking it and gave it to my mom. She's always telling me she gets MANY MANY compliments on it.
Always been on the edge about buying Patagonia because I’m a college student with limited amount of money however I love all things outdoors hiking and skate a little. I have to read one of their books called closer to the ground it’s an amazing book love what they do. Thanks a lot
One can literally hear the quality when you were sat there crinkling the very crinkly foul weather gear. Nice. Not my style, I am a Synchilla Fleece guy, but props.
Dope video man. Really enjoyed the history. You should do more on other brands? Would be amazing to see a history of Nike through different pieces video?
great vid and infos about patagonia. i have 3 patagonia so far 1 is vintage windbreaker double zipper every pocket and 2 modern tees (1 active and 1 regular graphic tee)
F As In Frank will do and i found a pullover fleece patagonia rhthym when i was organizing my room. i forgot i had this one. its fun to hunt and this is the fun/rush part but taking pictures and listing it online is my no fun part.
honestly i have always liked patagonia and never bought anything... i had a patagonia store in my area can you believe that??? i mean c'mon on where do you see a patagonia store? it closed on the 21st of this month just as i was ready to finally start buying. i missed my chance to shop at the store in person and i missed the closing sale.
I've been collecting Patagonia almost 30years, especially 70s 80s 90s and old catalogs. You are quite amazing!! You have a lot I haven't, however I have a lot you haven't. I have to thank you cos I can't find any Patagonia collectors channel on youtube or webs. Hope you keep up collecting rare ones!! Hello form Japan (-^-^-)v
The only Patagooch piece I have left is their braded leather belt that I have worn nearly everyday for the last 25 years. It may have 25 years left in it. Basically, if it doesn't go with the belt (black/silver), I'm not wearing it.
I WANT THE RETRO SWEATER IN THE BACKGROUND. i don't get why people are selling these sweaters online for like 2-300 dollars.... why can't I find a more affordable one!!!!
question for you: do you only like vintage patagonia or do you still mess with modern patagonia? Do you think their quality has declined at all through the years?
I don’t actually agree with Patagonia and the way they run the company in the last few years. Quality sucks and dedication to the planet is also suspicious.
Wish there was a way to tell the official colorway. Some oatmeal colored fleeces are actually cream, and others are oatmeal. Anybody know a way to tell? Are the oatmeal Retro X fleeces all with blue highlights/pockets while the creams have grey pockets?
F As In Frank alright frank. Thanks for the response. You have a dope collections. Hope i got 1 of your hats. You are one of the legit collectors i adore man
Damn would love to smoke a blunt in your back yard such a beautiful view, and dope collection homie. Just started buying patagonia and it's super nice.
@@FasinFRANKclothing I wish, I am just in Langley so like 30 mins outside of Vancouver but am frequently visiting your shop and other vintage stores downtown. Squamish looks like a dream tho
Bro sweet collection I’m only halfway through the video. I didn’t know there were patty nerds like me out there.
The nerds need to stick together man.

Hey, I will definitely be doing some of those soon. I will probably break it into categories. I appreciate the feedback.

So many nice peices! Don't suppose you have any idea how to clean and un-mat a vintage/early 200s deep pile fleece do you? Thanks

I already know frank has seen this joint
And now, whenever I see a person wearing fleece, all I can think about is "dang, that person is wearing a toilet seat cover as a jacket".
SUPER DOPE !

gimme
I find ironic that someone that is so much again fast fashion has so many clothes. Why would you need all that ?
I have sold off 90 percent of this collection now.
do a gore tex video
Yooooo, I don't even have that many pieces. Jesse has some so I will ask him to do a video on his pieces with some history on key garments.
