You are most welcome, I’m surprised how many people have benefited from this video. I will do more on other aspects of care and service for the RB3 community.
MicKK no this unit was faulty just replaced it, they are a good unit for the age, Bluetooth calls and audio streaming is all I need - glad this video helped you out!
@@CD-gu6kf I also have Odyssey RB3 2013. Yeh agree with you. The stock headunit is reliable and easy to operate. But bit boring comare to what you can do with smartphone screen mirroring enabled headunits these days
This is close to what I’m looking for, really appreciate the information in this video! I’ve got the 2009 RB3 with the Internavi head unit, apparently the head unit controls things like climate control, do you know of any workarounds?
Hi Morseman, never seen climate control from head unit, even on 2009, you can try aeropro as they have patch leads to suit and retain the steering wheel controls: aerpro.com/vehicles/honda/honda-odyssey-2009-2011-luxury-auto
@@CD-gu6kf yeah it’s a weird one, apparently it runs off the same circuit or some such. My fascia has additional audio controls, a multi function joystick and a big hdd/cd unit in the middle. I think I prefer yours lol
Thanks for the vid, very helpful - one question - anybody here installed a Sony head unit and the Facia on the odyssey is larger than the Sony unit? Is there a aftermarket Facia I can put on to cover the gaps around it?
@@owlwatchstrikers it’s specific to your car - contact Honda or look for the code, there is a sticker sometimes under the cover or around the head unit
Easily done, make sure you get the correct writing harness and adaptors for your odyssey so the steering controls work, aero pro have everything! If you put your android head unit model number it will tell you the parts you need. See Link: aerpro.com/vehicles/honda/honda-odyssey-2009-2011-luxury-auto
Brilliant. This is so helpful, and so much easier to follow than the photo sequence I found on the Honda forums. Thanks!

Exactly what I was looking for, thank you.
Brilliant video. I have looking for this but can't find it anywhere. Well done
You’re welcome! I found the same thing that’s why I made it!
very straight forward thank you

My unit same this but my unit is locked.
How i should find the password to unlock this unit?
It’s written inside somewhere from memory, usually under top cover. Otherwise call Honda and they can decode
i couldn’t find can you tell us the serial numbers. online they asking for serial number with VIN.
