Please forgive my stupidity as I’m not a big soccer fan but, I’ve seen highlights and videos of the games and when the teams walk out, what is the significance of the kids walking with the players? I like the idea and wish other sports like football and baseball would do that.
It really should be either Gary Cahill or Joe Hart. Both of them would make a good captain because of there personality. They are aggressive, strong, very motivational and have quite a bit of international experience. Gary Cahill has one of the best people who he can look up to (John Terry) because he was England captain himself, he knows what to do, and how to deal with troubles. On the other hand Joe Hart has captained a few games this season, and feels very comfortable in that role. Either of them would be great. However, I see Roy Hodgson picking Cahill.
