Shared Visions Across Diverse Missions: Expanding the Reach of the Mineta-Simpson Institute

Wyoming Humanities proudly sponsored this panel discussion from the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center in July 2024. This live panel celebrated the opening of the brand new Mineta-Simpson Institute at Heart Mountain! Leaders from four national organizations-Shelly C. Lowe (Navajo) of the National Endowment for the Humanities, Anthea M. Hartig of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, Debra M. Kawahara of the American Psychological Association, & Ann Burroughs of the Japanese American National Museum-discuss how the Mineta-Simpson Institute aligns with the work of their respective organizations. HMWF Executive Director Aura Sunada Newlin will moderate the discussion.
