- Hello everyone! Welcome or welcome back to my channel!!! In today’s video I’m bringing you along with me as I hunt for mostly houseplant related items at my local thrift stores.
I'm always on the lookout for cute planters. My favorites are the vintage USA pottery ones. I also shop for clothing and home decor.
I will share my haul from these thrifting trips as well as all of the items I have found throughout the month. I found some really cute used planters!!!! AND....I found something extra special this month and I can't wait to share it with you in this video!

I have that love birds wall pocket too! My husband got it for me few years ago! That vintage wall pockets opened my eyes to new kinds of vintage pottery i love finding them thrifting too🎉he had no idea what that would start haha

I see a lot of them here for some reason. But this is the first one that was not cheaply constructed (China) or not super expensive (and huge LOL). It was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!!!! :)

I had a class in Boulder on Saturday so I meandered over to the Goodwill and was thinking of you! I did find two little plant stands for outside. But no good planters!
Oh...that's great that you found the plant stands. I was pretty disappointed with that GW that day. I think we might try thrifting locally tomorrow...keeping my fingers crossed for good stuff :).

I saw too many things to list in one of the first shops you showed. Lots of turquoises, teals. I also like to use the pots as cover pots and put plant in plastic inside it. It works for me. Terra cotta just dries out way too fast here.
It dries out so fast here too. It really works well for my Rhipsalis though. They love it. Otherwise, cover pots with plastic nursery planters inside is my favorite way to plant the plants LOL. Hope everything is going well for you....and not too hot for outdoor stuff in the garden. It's 90s here all week...ugh.

Nice plants things! Great cuckoo clock! My Dischidia hirsuta is growing very well, and I have it in my small USA pottery olive green cover pot. My Hoya burmanica is directly under my grow light. Is that OK? I have both plants in my tiny den where I can keep the humidity between 50 and 65%. Kind of a pseudo grow tent. Thanks so much for my top wish list plants. Now I am hunting for Hoya mindorensis, I don’t think you have one?
Hi, Paul!!! Thank you!!! OH NICE...I bet they look great together. Can't go wrong with USA pottery :). The burmanica seems pretty adaptable to any conditions. Just keep an eye on it, if it starts to get pale in color, I'd probably move it. But that's just my preference. I have them growing in the grow tent/high humidity, and I have the mother plant in my office/low humidity, and they both do just fine. Of course, higher humidity is going to make them grow faster which is typically the case with most plants. I don't have the mindorensis. I've heard of that one but don't know what it looks like off-hand. I'll have to look it up. I've been wanting to add more smaller leafed Hoya to my collection. Don't have as much room for the big leaf boys LOL. If it's a small leaf, I might get it eventually. Thanks again for everything :).
Hey, Gena! Love your finds! We have similar tastes and I also pick up handmade pottery! One pot you didn't choose, from the first Goodwill, was a white pot with a blue stripe and orange stripe around the top. I purchased it's twin yesterday at our New Horizons Store in Canon City. 😊. Hi, Araceli!!!! yep....they can be expensive for sure. Every now and then we find good deals though. Mostly not though LOL...which is another reason we haven't been thrifting as much.
