I love this hydroponic system. Was simple to set up and my seeds germinated really quick. Been harvesting lettuce, kale Swiss chard, and basil for my salads. Now you got me thinking I need to plant some bok choy. Started some Tiny Tim tomatoes to see what happens they are looking good so far. 😊
Very nice. Sound like you got a nice setup over there... I'm trying to grow more spinach, lettuce, kale, pak choi or more super greens.. Trying to get in a better healthy diet lol and these systems are perfect for that.. thanks for sharing with us. I really do appreciate it and love it
Been doing this for a while. It’s so easy just like he says. Pro tip: as your plants mature, their water needs will increase. So keep an eye on your water levels after a while. Needs can change drastically.
Thank you for providing me with the step-by-step instructions. As a beginner, I have a few questions. How do I know when the plants are ready to be consumed? Also, is the fertilizer being used safe to add for growing vegetables? And finally, is it safe to consume the vegetables that have been grown with this fertilizer?" Thank you again.
So most of the fertilizer are not organic but they are safe for vegetables and flowers also safe for you to eat . But if you want to go with an organic liquid fertilizer you could always check Amazon for that.. So it's basically like growing outdoors but only indoors. So if you're going to harvest lettuce for example Harvest about 3 to 6 in from the outer leaves and leave the smaller In the middle to keep growing so you could get more harvest.. and your welcome... Happy gardening 🌱. .. if your plants get too tall and overgrown You could always remove it and start a new one by seeds..
Blessings to you and yours GreenT. Great tips. Did you say you have to harvest tomatoes? I missed the short. Cherry tomatoes. What company? We were lucky and got organic tomatoes from Canada last week and so delicious. BTW I should have asked you which co. when you planted your tomatoes. We have grow lights. I've not ordered seeds yet because shipping is crazy $ for just one seed packet.
So I believe the company was survival Garden seeds. I believe it was one of the tomatoes from their bundle packs.. I will have to double check on that to be sure.. If you do buy seeds either Amazon or if you do survive a garden seed, use my discount code GreenTGarden to see when you buy in bundles... Determinate tomato plants indoors ... . It's raining some white flies and stuff so using some sticky traps right now... But it's driving one of my cats crazy lol 😆... I might get rid of the tomatoes and pepper plant and start up with more spinach lettuce and more super greens so I could add more to my diet .. will do video
OK GTG, I'm going off your subject. Question. All I have is a cold garage. How, when and what seeds should I start sowing in my garage for the next planting season
So it sounds like you might need a mini greenhouse rack with grow lights... Cause you will need good lights and a bit warmer temperature even to start up your spring crops.. And after the last spring frost, when the soil temperature around 40s to 50s F. Mid March to late... Spinach , kale , broccoli, carrots, beets , boy Choy, lettuce, herbs , green onions , radishes , beans , peas etc. Something like this ... amzn.to/3TLUtzv (Amazon #ad

Happy New Year. Thank you so much. Always like coming to you for information and advice. Blessings
Your welcome and thank you .. and you have a wonderful blessed new year ... This is your year 🙏🌱🔋
When do you take off the domes? That part isn't clear to me in the instructions! Would love to understand further! Thank you!
I would say After 5 to 7 days ... You want to remove it before the seedlings reach it ..
I just planted my seeds. How high do I keep the light at first?
Keep the light at the lowest when you just sow seeds ... As the plan grow, you will increase the height of the lights
What’s the green stickers for after the dome ?
So that's a shade Sticker .. also could use a plant label..
👍♥️👍♥️👍
