It's kinda sad the only two Ultras I got from banners are yel Vegito which was nuked into oblivion and Beast Gohan who also got nuked into irrelevancy on day one. First we didn't get a MUI Goku and now we got a shit Ultra Beast Gohan that gets bullied by literally everyone on the PvP scene.
Beast is number one. Rising Rush deterrent. Insane one shot potential. And high amounts of burst damage. Looks like people are underwhelming him because this character does not hold your hand where you wait for auto counters and have long combos with no thought whatsoever. This character is actually a right step in the direction we need. New mechanics and ways to play around these mechanics if you make mistakes. But if you play with a brain this gohan is easy number 1
People think because he isn’t overpowered means he isn’t #1. He isn’t a beginner friendly unit like UMV or LF VB. You have to use his skills in specific scenarios instead of just letting everything activate at once. He’s a character you want to switch in and out of often to take full advantage of his capabilities, and just because he doesn’t give you instant BS doesn’t mean he isn’t top tier
LF TVB and UMV are still more oppressive even in early game. Especially LF TVB since he doesn’t have an ult and doesn’t need a rush to kill UBG because he has infinite combo. UMV is still as toxic as he is, nothing else to say. This UBG’s rush deterrent only works when he’s in the battlefield or if the opponent doesn’t have cover null when he cover changes. LF TVB is a walking cover null machine and UMV can lock in. You have to also use his active gauge (special beam cannon) carefully because it can be interrupted. All in all, a solid unit. Good damage, defenses are alright, and good utility for sub count manipulation. For me, he’s top 3 behind TVB and UMV.
@@MonitoenToa just checked UBG's kit, and he cancels buff effects on rush, even if he's on standby (2nd unique ability, at the very end). TVB's cover null isn't uncancellable, so you actually could just switch in if VB rushes you and counter the rush. Don't forget that you could also swap into somebody who can survive a normal rush, too.
This ultra is definitely a once you get him you're good since he deals so much burst dmg without doing too much combo if you get him then save up for the new year banners since they're the best valued banners to exist

Daima ssj Goku counters him so hard that's not even fair for the Ultra user and that's a rare sentence.

Running ulthan next to him with gotenks the synergy with all the greens between them is solid and he can survive a VB combo without using a disrupt he's very valuable IMO
I’m pretty sure who ever made beast’s kit wanted to make his gauge have 3 uses and make it counter forward charging blue cards and him being able to cancel buffs on blue cards 3 times as well, but they knew that would have broke the game so they down graded him

I usually summon on all Legends Fest banners, but this time I completely skipped the SS2/SS3 Goku banner, because I already had VB. I'm considering doing a couple more rotations on DAIMA Goku just to get enough coins for the 600 LL z power.

After I pull Gohan (luckily with in about 6kcc), I was going to pull all the diamond stuff too and I said let me stop. Something tells me that something else is going to drop next week. I'm just saying I could be wrong but I don't remember there being that many ways to get so much extra CC when that character comes out even during the festival. Usually the entire festival gives you a set amount of CC to get. This time just this week alone is an abundance of CC
pulled 3 times in 19k crystals. I will say he is very good at being on the offensive. maybe a strike or two and then just blue an switch. He is a glass cannon for sure. I would say get one copy and skadaddle. Thats if your gonna summon. Honestly waiting for the new years banner is probably a waaaaaay better use of crystals.

I've been pretty lucky this legends fest considering I got U Gohan in my first rotation and have both vegito and rose at 7+ stars, so I might go back in to the rose banner to pull more LFs
Fun fact is when you summmon every time and the period when your going to get the feature unit summon nimation and your happy and then suddenly you see that you get that orange piccolo and the green ssj3 goku that hurts And still till date couldnt pull him

Beast isn't mid - he litterlay has a auto kill mechanic, Daima goku litterlay dies to it and he is the most used red next to gotenks, can counter a RR and the counter does half of your full health , incredible disrupt, incredible dmg with the cut from strike Ult is a nuke Blue cards can become nukes He is without a doubt atleast top 3 It's day 1 and as a individual unit he most likely is top 1 , just doesn't have the team yet

I think he is actually healthy. I have yet to lose against him more than once and I am not really that good. Daima goku can catch him for sure. He is very good, but I don't really feel oppressed at all. I don't have him though. My opinion was developed purely playing against him.

As someone who got him and been playing ranked non stop since, do NOT buy him, he is far more shit than you think. Here's a list of all the units that shred his ass like a cheese grater or are straight up immortal to against him: Green ssj2 transforming ssj3 Goku Daima red ssj Goku The stupid ass Daima purple boiling pot tank Ultra Vegito (the red one) Ultra Gogeta ssj4 Ultra Majin Vegeta Zenkai Blue LF sword of hope Trunks You get the point, basically 80% of all meta units counter him so hard that he feels like an extreme unit against them.

If you don’t you’re going to have to fight harder, only way win is if gokua gets a zenkia, LF cell, or any anti hybrids units. Gogeta blue could also get a zenkia
UBeast is not number 1 because you have to play the game, sure you can press the special beam cannon which is very toxic, but he doesn't even scratch the surface of UMV toxicity
the SBC button ain't even toxic, i have jad people quick attack, normal attack at the right time or just switch to turles or Omega and tank the sbc It's super easily countered
im a new player i just started acouple weeks ago and havent spent any CC other than the 3k on the beginner banner. is this guy worth investing in or should i just play the story and casually play, ignoring pvp outside of dailies and missions and save my CC until the next big celebration.

I think he is actually healthy. I have yet to lose against him more than once and I am not really that good. Daima goku can catch him for sure. He is very good, but I don't really feel oppressed at all. I don't have him though. My opinion was developed purely playing against him.
i got 2 copy of ul beast in 1 rotation, should i summon more for him or any other lf like daimaku or ss2 goku i dont have both of them rn
If you have Ultra Majin Vegeta And VB there's no need to summon for this guy he's top 3 for sure But you would get more value on Daima banner

UBeast is not number 1 because you have to play the game, sure you can press the special beam cannon which is very toxic, but he doesn't even scratch the surface of UMV toxicity
the SBC button ain't even toxic, i have jad people quick attack, normal attack at the right time or just switch to turles or Omega and tank the sbc It's super easily countered
The last time i got an ultra to 8* was vb, and then never got an ultra after that until beast who I got to 8* in 9k cc.

im a new player i just started acouple weeks ago and havent spent any CC other than the 3k on the beginner banner. is this guy worth investing in or should i just play the story and casually play, ignoring pvp outside of dailies and missions and save my CC until the next big celebration.
If u are a new player u should try to pull a ultra in 10k atleast before going further
